Re: Is this the end?

30 Apr 2008

The worst part of this for me is thinking that I did not really meet God after all, I remember feeling so relieved that my search had ended and now I am anxious again x100! Was it God or not? I really don't know, so I guess not?! You are the first person on this forum to express exactly what I feel...

Re: MukriMata

Sakaash, My experience is limited to being part of a local branch of the BKs in the UK and my only dealings with the senior Sisters were at various events. I never got as far as the inner circle to deal with them directly. However I did get to the point where I was regularly taking out large sums of...

Sakaash, I have been moved by your plight Sakaash and I just want you to know that you are not alone - I left the BK'S about two months ago now, and it still hurts like hell. I was going to post a similar thread because the void is just very painful. Listen to Mr Green and ex-l because they have bee...

To Enlightened: Thank God for your courage and for accepting your own ability and potential for enlightenment. It has saved you. Here, here Paul That was a really moving and heartfelt opening thread Enlightened and comments from pro-BKs such as you should be grateful for your upbringing are just no...

Re: Who are the 'ex-BK's' Moment of Reflection

15 Apr 2008

Firstly, Alladin, I could not have put it better myself. Secondly, Bansy, this is the problem with labels really. I just cannot identify myself as an 'EX BK', but it was the only identity from the list that was most appropriate. I think most people who leave the BKs would rather be known as anything...

Hi, Enlightened, thought I would cut and paste my own post on the other thread so as to get the ball rolling so to speak! Who are the ex-BKs - Moment of reflection. EX-BKs are real effort makers EX-BKs are the real seekers of truth EX-BKs can distinguish fact from fiction EX-BKs were once dedicated ...

Re: Who are "The BKs" ? Moment of reflection

I guess, this is one of the only other places that I can share my feelings and what I am going through as there may be a handful of people who visit this site who are going through or who may have gone through something similar to myself. Totally with you on this one enlightened. I just cannot keep...

Re: Who are "The BKs" ? Moment of reflection

Every BK I have met has been a really lovely human being and has exhibited all the worthwhile qualities. If I just left it at that, i.e an acquaintance, pleasant neighbour, person I chat to when I buy a paper etc etc, that would be fine. The trouble is, when you get deeper into the BKs they all sing...

Re: [Admin] User log; Cautions, Suspension, Bans etc

10 Apr 2008

I totally respect this decision. It is one thing to respond to or challenge what individual people choose to post on this forum, but to use information that is privileged and force somebody (myself, I think) to explain publicly why they have kept their identity and location hidden, is certainly a ma...

Re: Mention about ex-BKs in Murlis

OK, so I got carried away with emotion  . Mr Green, I stand corrected. You have basically summed up what I wanted to say really. :P I wish I had your ecomony of words .

Why did you become unfortunate instead of becoming fortunate? Did the Father who was teaching you say anything to you that you left the studies and became unfortunate? I am sorry but this is exactly the sort of thing that just makes me so angry and despondant. I am looking out the window now. I can...

Re: Was I imagining it?

Hi ex-l, Well, firstly, just back from moving out a car load of stuff, still got to move tomorrow and get a van to move bulkier items out over the weekend. I did wonder if they would be about and more disarmingly nice because there was no pressure of me gatecrashing the transmission. Anyway, nobody ...

And well done to you, you've pulled our pal Mr Green back on-line - he's in strong form by the sound of it, perhaps now we'll get a lighter touch that's been missing from the forum for so long Yes Paul, I also feel quite honoured to have Mr Green back too! Going back today to finish off the packing...

Was I imagining it?

02 Apr 2008

Just had a really uncomfortable moment. Many on this forum will know from my introductory thread that only about a month ago I fled from the BK centre where I lived after a period of what can only be described as complete mind, body and soul control, to the point where I actually left my husband and...
