Re: Black people are the most impure - Dadi Janki

11 Dec 2008

Things getting a little close to the bone for you fellas? You certainly don't mind dishing it out, but when someone shows your agenda and practices for what they are, you want to take your bat and ball and go home.

Actually, it was a researcher for Professor Eileen Barker, Professor Emeritus at the London School of Economics and chair and honorary director of INFORM who raise the query. INFORM is arguably the most preeminent centre for the study of New Religious Movements in the world. Certainly one of the mo...

If you look over what I wrote, I said that "for myself, I examine my participation, conscious or unconscious, in all that befalls me." Not exactly a "state of denial" as far as I can tell. I can take responsibility for myself, as many people in the world do, without considering ...

My question is why is diiogenes pretending to be an ex-BK? There's no pretense, primal. I don't follow Shrimat, I don't attend Amrit Vela, Murli, or have contact with the Brahmin family in any way. ... the law of gravity is the same thing as karma blah blah ... do you think we have not heard that b...

An academic asked me recently if rumors were true that Janki Kripalani questioned if, or did not believe that, Gulzar was channeling BapDada/Shiva/God/Lekhraj Kirpalani any more ... could there be any truth to that?

The only evident truth there is that peddling rumours is no substitute for anything.

I understand the concept, Diiogenes, I just don't believe it. Newton's law - for every action there is an equal, opposite reaction - this is the way science describes the same thing, the reality of karma. Choosing not to believe, having been informed, is like deciding to not believe in / ignoring t...

I dispute that people are suffering in Africa because of karma Then for all your time in Gyan you still don't understand karma. If the world ignores the plight and suffering of a country, that is karma. If the world offers support and help, that is karma. If a person dies an agonising, sudden death...

I see this witch hunt against Dadi Janki continues. Misrepresenting what she has said, then convincing yourselves you're right in denouncing her as racist, that her comment perpetuates a desire to place people in inferior status and position to BKs - and conveniently overlooking the fact that Dadi J...

Hi jaycdp. I was in Kathmandu and Pokarah a few months prior to the elections. The Maoist party wasn't popular with a lot of people I came across. But it was the most active party I saw, and it has attracted a lot of disenchanted people, particularly the very poor and uneducated (longstanding corrup...

Hi Arjun, it seems it's another valid question that elicits more than one answer. Funnily enough, I just finished watching a tv documentary called 'the womb'. The scientific claim is the foetus' earliest noticed movement is at 8 weeks. Any idea if ShivBaba has said anything definitive?

What a terrific and entertaining thread! I came across it yesterday and have been thoroughly engrossed. I also have something to add. In the late 80's one of the pieces of information I was given, ratified by several BK sources (and also several lokik mothers) was that the soul enters the womb at ap...

... The identifying of the only redeeming feature would have been way beyond me. The only redeeming feature - so God's promise is not completely compromised otherwise. I'll clarify - my comment doesn't in any way refer to the actual incident. There are imponderables for me in this situation, for ex...

There may exist times when the advice "Baba is responsible" applies to the work even then personal responsibility exists. What do you consider to be true? I don't differ with what you've said, up to the point of your above sentence. Once Baba is at the point of responsibility for our welf...

Even so it would be very unfair of me to suggest that BapDada was responsible for the words and actions of any BK, all senior Sisters and Brothers included. Hi John, considering you have to be surrendered to become a senior, and BKs are requested (by Baba as well, I believe) to treat their views/pr...

Re: ex-l's recent postings damaging how the forum is perceived?

Try being a bit more friendly here, in general, ex-l, to yourself as well. You'll be surprised it doesn't come across as a sign of weakness, but of strength. I'd appreciate seeing a side of you that wasn't usually teetering on hostility. It cannot be good for you. It would allow people to appreciate...
