Re: How to talk to a BK about BK?

27 Mar 2009

I have got some good results by talking silently to their higher self.

I do this too. People who are less in their heads tend to respond quicker though.

Re: Romantic love within the BKWSU

God doesn't need to be loved by you. God is love ... This is a brilliant quote. If we're talking about the real God that is. But if we're talking about a disembodied entity, like Brahma Baba, then perhaps he is such a needy low level entity that he requires the love of thousands of souls to quench ...

Re: ex-l's recent postings damaging how the forum is perceived?

Hmmm, I see where you're coming from and I picked up on it actually. Speaking for myself, I know that sometimes I go off topic and I wondered if it was bothering anyone. Since I am new, I thought I would probably not have my hand tapped immediately, but I can see that it really does bother you. I wi...

WAKING FROM A DEEP SLEEP If somebody is waking for the first time from a deep sleep, she might see the midnight stars. But if she waits long enough without going back to sleep, she will begin to see not only stars but the dawn, then the sunrise, and then the whole landscape being lit by a brilliant...

Re: Brahma Kumaris Raise Issue of Abuse with BKWSU Leadership

Detached Rayo????? NO!!! We cannot detach ... cool, we can!! I was being facetious jannisder! It was a reference to all the things we are supposed to be according to the BKs. Of course, I don't think we have to be "detached"!!! That would go against everything I have shared so far! Sorry ...

Dear ex-l, I have really enjoyed your insights and you obviously seem to know enough about the Brahma Kumaris to inform and expose the truth. But I need to tell you that I think you're being a bit controlling here. We are not perfect and sometimes we will go off topic. So what is wrong with that? Ma...

Dear Kerwin/The Torch, I am new to this forum but I want to say thank you. Being a secret agent is a tough job but somebody's gotta do it! (Can we call you 008?). So thank you again and may the force be with you! Peace and love to all of you working from within to bring order, justice, reform and tr...

Hi englightened, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me. Your honesty is truly touching and I am certain that you will work through your dilemma with the care that you need, in order to heal in good time. I am so sorry to hear that you endured abuse and such confusion with the BK's. I...

What I am gathering from the last couple of posts is that actors are masters of illusion. Dadi Janki and Jayanti were good actors for the reasons that tom mentioned. I also enjoyed Dadi Janki's comedy and Jayanti's velvet performances. However, as I read about it now, I cannot help but feel queasine...

Padumpump! And thank you all for the laughs. I especially enjoyed paul's "How to get out of a car celibate celebrity style" and ex-l's "How many BKs does it take to screw in a lightbulb: 108." I was a bit surprised to find that not everyone enjoyed the humor as much as I did. Is ...

Facinating! I love it! Thanks ex-l for bringing this point up: Oh, let's do the BK and just put him down as a "new soul having his Golden Age at the fag end of Kali Yuga". I remember the first time I heard this and how my stomach groaned at the simple suggestion that it might be true. I di...

Listen, it's all in good fun. Every relationship must have fun included in it otherwise it gets boring and stale very quickly. We can be silly and use smilies to express the two dimensionality of virtual computer relationships as long as it is meant to be. It's good. It's healthy. It gives us the op...

"Guess what, I met someone last night and he's sooooo gorgeous" ... and off they go again. and again. Paul, your posts are cracking me up today. Thanks for the laugh. Now the reason this point was particularly funny is because an ex-BK friend of mine has bravely re-entered the social scen...

How can there be generalities about something so individual as intimate relationship? Thank you for reminding me. I just, myself, posted about the dangers of generalizing about actors and I think it relates to this topic as well. Getting intimate with someone is scary whether a person is ex-BK or n...
