Re: BK Gazing (drishti) practice in relation to self

05 Jul 2008

I am sure it says in the Murli not to give or take drishti from an impure person. Show me one pure person and that person can give drishti, Therefore drishti should only be from ShivaBaba. I think BKs should be wise and research into what Baba says (via Murli) and not what the Dadis say, to me you a...

Re: Shiva Entering Brahmababa - Was there any physical change

If memory serves correctly, the book Adi-Dev does describe the changes the old man's body experienced when God came visiting. And it was more than red lights and sweat. It describes the trance state if I remember rightly. Anyone got a copy on hand to check as mine got used to light fires one cold w...

How do you know who is speaking what? That is the 6 trillion dollar question ;). It is said in Murli of Shiva, 'when I come and when I go nobody knows'. I did ask questions to the PBKs for Virendra Dev Dixit to answer along the lines of, is he/was he ever aware of a seperate entity controlling his ...

Re: Accurate Yaad (Accurate Remembrance)

03 Jul 2008

The above extract clearly mentions what is the wrong way and what is the correct way to remember ShivBaba. It says remembering ShivBaba as pictures (like Brahma Baba, Dadis, etc.) or as a point (a point of light marked on a casket of red light) is wrong, while remembering incorporeal Shiv through t...

You said, Murli are read falsely. I do not agree with this. They read Murli rightly. Which Murlis? The original ones or the re- written/amended ones? Foreign people are egoistic and just check for everything. It will be difficult for them to digest. They cannot adjust. That is why divorce cases are...

As far as I know there was no change in BrahmaBaba.

Also Brahmababa had quite a bad cough even when Murli was spoken.

Mbbhat It is nice that you have done your research and put thought into what you write. I may not agree with all you put, but I respect your effort. I just wish more BKs would use their intelligence more, rather than giving knee jerk reactions to anyone who questions them. Especially those who have ...

But there is one good thing in that. Because, if the newcomers are given all these details, they will not be able to digest these. Then instead of listening to Murli (eating mango), they will start searching from where mango fruit has come and remain hungry! Surely mango fruit Murli has come from S...

Re: How and why it is called Brahma Kumaris or not?

17 May 2008

An awful lot came from trance messengers in the early days. Brahma's name came from a trance messenger, not a formal naming by Shiva or Murli. I think the foundations were laid by interpretation of visions and trance messages rather than Murli explainations. I think the early days were very much abo...

Re: Give Your Bones in the Baba's (Gods) Service says Dadi Janki

DJ, many years ago, did hiss at me that I am a Bhagat though strangely I seem to understand current her meaning and intent. John, you are way too kind. DJ is a Bhagat ... Don't let her acts of superiority put a spell on you. How does DJ remember Baba? Does she remember in the old way of seeing Shiv...

Re: ex-l's recent postings damaging how the forum is perceived?

You say that historic revisionism is done with a purpose, to deceive. In my last post was the following, I don't think that the truth of what we are now and what our spiritual potential is has ever been misrepresented by the BK. This statement has a high degree of mental certainty in it. How are th...

If 'historic revisionism' and Murli revision leads souls away from the truth then the journey towards purity is surely confounded? It may not be what you wish to hear when I say that historical revisionism and Murli revision is of little interest to me although I do understand that to some these de...

Re: ex-l's recent postings damaging how the forum is perceived?

08 May 2008

The true issue in everyone's life is what to do with ones time and energy. Whilst there may be a few BK who are engaged in "historical revisionism" for some of their time, true BK are engaged in making themselves "whiter than white," the study is for life. This aspiration, from ...

Maybe an important issue is anonymity. I think those wishing to remain anonymous should be able to do so, but if somebody does reveal their identity and they are seen as a BK going against Shrimat, then really they should expect the activities they are connected with to be scrutinized because that i...
