Re: Is this the end?

30 Apr 2008

I would suggest that perhaps bringing up the topics aren't going to be particularly uplifting for Sakaash, which is who this particular forum is for. We are responding to her/his concerns and his heartache. Let's save the debate for another forum.

Dear Sakaash, My gosh you have a lot of friends on this forum! Regarding the money, I would say don't do anything against your conscience. Ever. Dadi Janki would say the same. With The Knowledge points you brought up - I understand what you mean about the Shudra comments, droppings of the crow etc. ...

Dear Sakaash, I am writing as a long-term BK but I am certainly not writing to tell you what to do or to 'stay' or 'leave'. But yes, definitely, I can tell you on the basis of what I've learned, give yourself space and love yourself through this. Whenever something like this comes up, often we fight...

Well ... now that I am on the forum anyway, thanks for all your lovely messages both public and private. Much appreciated.

Hi Bansy, yes, indeed it will be free on the web. There is a new website where you can see the trailer. You may have been to the site before, but this is the new one. It will be complete after the 19th. I am glad you brought up the traveller theme. I think it's important and I enjoyed discussing som...

I've answered your queries, responded to your challenges and really done my best to be as open, honest and direct as I possibly can about who I am, my life and how I feel and think about things. I have been a Raja Yogi for almost quarter of a century, so I know that there are flaws and foibles and s...

I am loving these postings about the history. Thanks for putting them up - it really gives the reader a feel of what it must have been like in those days. Wonderful. Thank you.

In reply to the conversations about the Tao, I felt a real resonance with everybody. I also, like ex-lady (whoever she may be), bansy, ranee and others love the Tao and was drawn to it at an early age. I spent a whole season in Madhuban listening to recordings of the cello during Amrit Vela and read...

Hello again everyone. Sorry I've been away for a while - I am in one of those 'exotic' places and internet access is not easily come by here. At the risk of sounding repetitive to ex-l, I have been and am being as straight as I possibly can. I have explained our use of the term 'Tao' as far as I und...

It seems I am not going to resign from the forum! At least not yet. I know you said your questions were not personal, but in fact your questions were about my family, my contributions to the Yagya, my spiritual life and my reasons for making the film. These are not "general questions" but ...

Thanks for your thoughts Arjun. I tend to believe that my values as a BK are demonstrated more by the way in which I live my life, rather than whether or not I participate in an internet forum. With warmest wishes and in God's remembrance. In response to Alladin's posting, after having been in Gyan ...

The reason I am resigning is because this doesn't seem to be an open forum, but more of an interrogation. It began with questions about the film, which I answered as directly and clearly as I could. However, it slowly slipped into personal questions loaded with presumptions and misinformation from t...

The Australian BKWSU has had a Duty of Care since 2003, which was recently updated further. I like the Jewish proverb.

Re: New Group

I would certainly support dropping all titles. Invariably as soon as someone classifies themselves, or others as one of the aforementioned 'types', a whole bundle of presumptions are made. I think it could promote broader and deeper discussion with users not using any titles. Yes ... great idea.
