I am going to risk alientating this individual here as it seems to be that they have suffered some kind of mental breakdown but there are truths littered throughout what they write. The problem is that there appears to be a lack of persective typical of someone have a psychiatric illness. I an concerned that an individual BK or ex-BK might have had a breakdown and it been untreated or untreatable.

It was easier to steal a gaddi (a pulpit like seat) than a throne L.Kripalani rued. To him swamis and gurus' ashrams were like kingdoms. Kripalani knew that caste Brahmins with their pride and scrutiny would find difficulty accepting a merchant not only as a guru, but suddenly as leader of their caste

With the real Brahma gone [see Abuse of Innocence, part I], all L.Kripalani thought he had to do was go to another town and claim real Brahma's visions and ordination which would make Kripalani head of all gaddis (pulpits). When Amil men returned from their business trips, they found that their wives would not have sex with them, because they had promised Kripalani a.k.a. "Brahma" to be celibate. L. A widow is taken care of in India and also allowed to move around more freely than would a woman who had a husband or a woman who is unmarried. Most Brahma Kumaris were never married and if they were, never widowed. Who would suspect a widow in a white sari of terrorist activities?

But, at the time, like the other 500,000 students I believed that this group was just a spiritual group who taught people to become peaceful. When the Brahma Kumaris Seniors secretly came to me in August 1999 to ask me to lead the Brahma Kumaris, but lead them "incognitally ", I had been away from them for four years, but practicing meditation on my own in Riverside, California.

I was told that all my bills will be paid by them after all this was my university and that I was wealthy and did not have to worry about anything as ordinary as paying bills and having enough money. They even told me that I would need a housekeeper because I would be too busy to take care of my own house. They Brahma Kumaris teach that the world will end shortly. As in the Eastern tradition when another guru takes over a ashram and the former guru’s place, I was asked to wear Kripalani’s chakra’s and the rest of his spiritual body parts. I agreed and even thought it an honor particularly since in all the stories about him he was said to have been a great yogi and that he died in a high spiritual frame of mind called samadhi.

0/10 - All this talk of wearing guru's chakras sounds like a LSD acid trip.

However, when they took my chakras and the rest of my spiritual body parts like my Ida and Pingala and sushumna and replaced them with his I began to feel weak and scared. Before the exchange I was strong and brave. These feelings would make me know that what was said about Kripalani whom they called "Lehraj" being Brahma and a great yogi master was a lie. But, at the time, I was told that my body needed to adjust to his chakras and other spiritual organs because after all, he died "pure" and I was still becoming that way.

0/10 - I do not think Lekhraj Kirpalani was necessarily a yogi master but what is he talking about. All non-standard, non- BK stuff.

I was then 44 and healthy, but when I wore his chakras, I needed help walking around and even would have faint heart attacks and feel how feeble Lehraj really was and how afraid he was of dying. He even had trouble with his bladder a lot because of fear.

6/10 - I give him marks for Lekhraj Kirpalani's health. We know the heart attacks were true. I can imagine he was fearful, vulnerable and incontinent at 90. Especially if the BKWSU was in the process of being hijacked, as we are led to believe. I am sure that death would have felt like a huge failure to him. This is sort of interesting, I am wondering if the Brother is having some sort of uncontrolled psychic experience here and been given experiences he does not totally understand.

I also began to know that some of these senior teachers were approaching me with being the second Brahma because perhaps the university was in trouble. I asked for my chakras to be returned later because I even found it hard to work without tiring. I had no bills for three months and was so busy being still in Yoga so that Kripalani and his other teachers could move about in spiritual space that I would forget the days. It also occurred to me that they had no power of Yoga because if they did, they would not require my total attention when they had to get into spiritual spaces or give lectures before large audiences.

1/10 - mostly non-BK and off the planet. No talk or conscious manipulation of chakras etc in the BKWSU. A cautious "possibly" to lack of Yoga power and the use of other individual's energy.

I had been a asthetic for some years and in my last two births, I was an asthetic so my power of Yoga was very strong. As a result of this takeover, I was asked to make my home the incognito university, because the university was going underground because of the danger and my being designated as the second Brahma.

I found out later that Brahma Kumaris were taking over brotherhood organizations as well as men’s club and faternities and even sororities all over the world.

Even though I refused to continue to be a part of these organization as leader because of their insincerity about being ethical and powerfully spiritually, I noticed that the Brahma Kumaris were still using my house for beam coordinates because I had all types of interference in my telephones and television sets.

This little krisna does not seem like she would hurt a fly. The butter that she and her organization takes is the best of the lives of their followers, family property, insurance funds and their financial wills and even their followers country's citizenship, using their passport identification to travel abroad.

Long ago, when I was a questioning BK, I was looking for independent information on the internet. I had not met any ex-BKs at that time, neither had I seen this forum or its predecessor XBKChat. This "Blood Letters" site was the first thing I found. After reading the first page I concluded that all critics of the BKs were probably insane, and did not look for independent information again for many months. That was only one person's experience, but I would imagine it to be typical, indeed I know it is typical because I have asked other ex-BKs about it.

The author may be in need of help, and some of what he says may be true, but on the whole it does serious critics a disservice. On this forum we have well researched, documented and referenced information. OK, sometimes we get a little sarcastic or whatever, but broadly speaking we are sensible. I agree with John, this article is not helpful to us.

Its concerning because one has to ask, did they start that way, or were they turned that by their Gyani experience? Again it leads back to the duty of care issue.

If they were a little mentally challenged when they started off in Raja Yoga, did anyone check or monitor their situation, stop to ask if they should be supported or encouraged on? My experience is, no. The organization needs/needed bushwackers and cannonfodder on its frontlines. We have noted how, on a number of occasions, certain individuals have flipped out or burnt out through their involvement. We really do not know how and why.

I agree with what you say about the owelsongs, proy. It is not helpful but it is part of the whole. I was interested by my one element of it. The individual seems to me to be slipping in and out of lucidity and uncontrolled intuitions and not being able to make sense of them.

The bit that interested me was the author's intuitions about Lekhraj Kirpalani experience as an old man feeling weak and being fearful. I think there is truth to this.

Narain Kripalani, Lekhraj Kirpalani's son, often attempts to speak out about the truth of Lekhraj Kirpalani's life. One of the stories that circulates is that he had numerous breakdowns and had to be cared for. From my experience and study or psychic phenomena, this is very common and not to looked down upon BUT it does require investigation to discover what was going on. I can imagine the 80 odd year old Lekhraj Kirpalani WAS fearful of the machinations there were going on around him and the only thing we DO KNOW is that we DO NOT KNOW the whole truth of what happened.

I am very interested to discover more about the Bengali Saddhu Lekhraj Kirpalani is said to have become engaged with whilst he was in Calcutta and who is said to have led to the changes that came about in him.
