I see that PMTV is now running ads, at least one, of Apollo Hospital.

Don't know if it is paid for.

Don't know what to make and think of this new development.

I have no idea either but I fully anticipate more and more of the Brahma Kumaris unpaid servants being used to raise income with such tie ins.

I see an Apollo Hospital specialist urologist appear in one of their programmes. Perhaps it's a mutual back scratching venture?

They must be taking the p!ss in public*.

Apollo Hospital Group (AHG) is health care corporate chain of hospital founded Dr. Prathap C. Reddy in 1983 and has locations all over Asia (Prathap C.Reddy and the Apollo Hospital Group, 2012). The chief guest of the program is a urologist at the AH. Dr.Redy an American and Indian trained cardiologist is a highly decorated physician (Prathap C.Reddy and the Apollo Hospital Group, 2012). He was granted a award by Mother Theresa and there is an Indian postage stamp commemorating the stellar health care of AHG.

Here is more about Dr. Reddy:

A major negative for AHG has been reports of it being involved in corrupt donor organ transplant scams (Press Tust of India, 2016; Times of India, 2017). Apollo Hospital on Greams Road has been rated as number 1 among 15 top multi-specialty hospitals (Executive Health Checkup, n.d.a) and among the top 15 cardiology centers in India(Executive Health Checkup, n.d.b).

Hopefully they only learnt the expertise of the US health system and not their financial model!

Pink,

It's possible that the BK planners, and/or top brass, want to diversify into body healthcare on a national/global scale.

They can learn much from AHG by mimicking. The mind/body health market is expanding and the BKs may think with their soul health paradigm, that they can dominate a large slice of the profits from the mind/body health market.
