10 Fast and Easy Steps from Freedom to Totalitarianism

Author Naomi Wolf, famous for her "No Label" attack on the cult of corporate consumerism, mentioned a list of ten specific steps that can and will lead a country from Democracy and Freedom into Totalitarianism. Many Americans are discussing how it appears to be that they have already ticked their way past all but one of those goalposts while hardly blinking an eye. Given the recent incursion into our domain life by the US Army, I am wondering where we stand as Adi Devs under the rule of "Islamic" BKWSU rule?

The old analogy of the frog in the frying pan clearly applies here. It's only by very slowly and gradually increasing the heat that we are lulled into believing everything is just fine - meanwhile our skin is peeling off and brains stopping working ...

Following discussions with a survivor of the European Holocaust and a study of the decline of civilization during WWII and beyond, the author Wolf list these steps and relates them to coups taking place in Burma, Thailand and elsewhere.

OK, it is going to seem exaggerated to relate this to the BKWSU because everything is done at a much more sublte level ... BUT ... it is our business, our family, and if you believe in The Knowledge (something the orthodox appear to do less and less) whatever happens inside the Family happens outside too. Excuse the use of the American experience here.

Step 1. Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy

Identify enemies of the state, both within and without - both real and imagined. In WWII Germany it was the Jews, Gypsies and Gays; in America it was the interned Japanese-Americans, the dreaded "Fifth Column" and later The Reds and Commies. Today it is al Qeada and those damn filthy Liberals who just about seem to be to blame for everything.

For the BKs, they have the Kaliyugi Shudras, the bad husbands, the Anti-Party, the PBKs and now ... US! Hooray.

Step 2. Create a Gulag

Once you have identified your enemies - you need a dank dark place to put them. And, of course, like a little butter to the bitter pill go down - you need a sham kangaroo court to make your detention seem completely legitimate.

Today, America has Abu Grhaib where innocent of any real charge, and with no connections to insurgents or terrorists, many individuals remain held without charges and tortured. Neither the general public (nor the BKWSU) has lifted a voice in protest, let alone a finger. They also remained silent during the internment of Japanese-Americans, and the blacklisting of suspected "Pinkos" during in the Cold War decades.

Step 3. Develop a thug caste.

When leaders want to close down an open society, they send paramilitary groups of scary young men out to terrorise citizens. The Blackshirts roamed the Italian countryside beating up communists; the Brownshirts staged violent rallies throughout Germany. American today has private military firms such as Triple Canopy and, of course, Blackwater. These firms not only roam the streets of Baghdad, but have already roamed the streets of New Orleans, accountable to no one except their share-holders, these firms employ their own mercenary army.

Well, we have already seen a centralized use of a thug caste by the BKWSU dealing with their "PBK problem" leading to direct physical violence towards others. What the wonderous BKWSU Internet PR team and the domain name dispute are, in my opinion, basically just a more subtle form of the same energy. Violence on a mental or financial level.

Step 4. Set up an internal surveillance system

Enter the Secret Police, watching everyone, hearing everything - and their most valuable agent just might be your next door neighbor.

In Mussolini's Italy, in Nazi Germany, in communist East Germany, in communist China - in every closed society - secret police spy on ordinary people and encourage neighbours to spy on neighbours. No checks, no balance - just more paranoia, more fear, and more consolidation of power and influence.

No comment on this is need really. Anyone who has been a BK for more than 3 weeks has to be perfectly aware of how well the gossip vine works, and is worked, by the leadership to their benefit. And if they are not ... then wake up folks.

Mostly and traditionally, as reported elsewhere, this is done word of mouth and in Hindi to ensure there is no accountability and traceability. The leaks that we have seen give some indication of how much more sophisticated it is becoming with the addition of IT technology. Look at all the collective flapping around and collusion on the Wikipedia, the hunting down of internet address from emails ... this lot's activities would embarrass even the Scientologists.

Step 5. Harass citizens' groups

The American Civil Liberties Union reports that thousands of ordinary American anti-war, environmental and other groups have been infiltrated by agents: a secret Pentagon database includes anti-war meetings, rallies or marches by American citizens in its category of 1,500 "suspicious incidents". The equally secret Counterintelligence Field Activity (Cifa) agency of the Department of Defense has been gathering information about domestic organizations engaged in peaceful political activities.

You too could be on the BKWSU Watchlist. How many folks here do we hear saying that they are afraid to speak out or be recognized by the SS by their posts on this forum? How many would like to post, or speak up about issues they read of in here but are afraid what would happened, or how they would be treated by the SS if they did.

Step 6. Engage in arbitrary detention and release

Well, BKs don't suffer that yet, at least not in the West, but we did read of that case of the young BK Sister being held by a "strict" center-in-charge and I wonder how many more there are? A feel might have had their ears pull but, actually, banishment remains the favored tool of control.

Condemning BKs/PBKs to the gulag of eternal damnation instead ...

Step 7. Target key individuals

Threaten civil servants, artists and academics with job loss if they don't toe the line. Mussolini went after the rectors of state universities who did not conform to the fascist line; so did Joseph Goebbels, who purged academics who were not pro-Nazi; so did Chile's Augusto Pinochet; so does the Chinese communist Politburo in punishing pro-democracy students and professors.

Again, no new comments necessary on this one. Censorship of artistic talent within the BKWSU? Well covered ground. Targetting key individuals ... well, yes, good old ex-l has had just that promise made!!! I could think of a few more that have been too and not all for dissent. Suman in German was one, punished it seems for the treason of a novel way of studying the Amrit Vela in depth.

Can anyone else think of any tall poppies that have been cut down?

Step 8. Control the press

Italy in the 1920s, Germany in the 30s, East Germany in the 50s, Czechoslovakia in the 60s, the Latin American dictatorships in the 70s, China in the 80s and 90s - all dictatorships and would-be dictators target newspapers and journalists. They threaten and harass them in more open societies that they are seeking to close, and they arrest them and worse in societies that have been closed already.

This happens in two way with the BKWSU influence. Firstly, let us have a look at their own press; Purity, Gyan Amrit etc. Has there ever been a single critical analysis or questioning of the leadership ever published? Are they not instruments of historical and philosophical revision? Check on both accounts. Has anyone ever heard of a single "free newsletter" or internal communication? What ultimately are Virendra Dev Dixit's VCD* commentaries on the Murli? BK State control rules.

Secondly, there is the BKWSU influence over external press; the removal of critical articles from the press and internet (double check), the exclusion of PBK news (apparently "check" also). Its amazing what can be done with sweetness and toli that otherwise would require force and bribery ... but is the end not the same ... and where to from here. What else was the domain name dispute about but a mutli-thousand dollar assaul, laden with false claims, on freedom of speech and the only independent forum within the BK "Family".

Step 9. Dissent equals treason

Cast dissent as "treason" and criticism as "espionage'. Every closing society does this, just as it elaborates laws that increasingly criminalise certain kinds of speech and expand the definition of "spy" and "traitor".

Well, we had that quote exactly from the Kirpalani Klan to Mr Green who was accused of betrayal for confronting ... what was it ... his witness of Jayanti Kirpalani making false allegations against him to other BKs? Dissent towards who equals treason!?! Who is "State Baba", Him or "The They'?

Step 10. Suspend the rule of law

Final stop, all aboard on this well paved road to hell.

When did BKs ever have any protection of law in the first place!!! Ha! So how come the first thing "The They' did to "the greatest religion in the history of humanity" was suspend the Court of Indra? Where is the BKs Beth Din to raise issue of contention or hold the leadership to accountability?

Gosh, I bet the letters and emails are on the way to Naomi inviting to Mount Abu to speak at a VIP seminar already. (Too late ...)

Yes, we've seen all kind of thing put into place by the most unscrupulous Western governments in many years ... why shouldn't any power-hungry bunch of control freaks do any different, no matter what guise they may be in??

ps: just enjoying Australia's own return to some kind of freedom from the totalitarianism/dissent quashing of the Howard years.

I haven't stopped grinning for 2 days, lol.
