What Are You Optimistic About?

I know this was the 2007 Edge question. But, would want to know from all you, exs.

What are you optimistic about ... and why?

Going down the pub, good beer.

Going to the Grand Canyon next month, to be awed by the desert, spend time alone, have an adventure. (Going down the pub for my favorite beer sounds good too, but I'd have to travel even further for that).

That the concrete jaws of reality will surely close and bite down upon the BKWSU leadership in time (I have incredibly far reaching patience and foresight) and the followers will awake from their drunken stupor one by one.

Truth, persisted in, is like a good, biodegradable detergent on stainless steel kitchen worktop surface.

There's a lot to see in that desert country. And this is a great time of year, as the days are not too hot, few mosquitos. Lot of native American ruins to see. Cliff dwellings, petroglyphs. The silence that speaks so deeply.
