A four-day personality development camp for children was held at the zonal headquarters of Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, RajYoga Bhavan, Sector 33, from March 27 to 30.

More than 100 students from various schools between the 10 to 15 age group participated.

Lectures and workshops relating to memory techniques, time management, positive mental attitude, national integration and other such disciplines were conducted by the Brahma Kumari Sisters.

Different activities aimed at bringing out the creativity of children like essay writing, poem recitation and RajYoga meditation classes were held and this was greatly appreciated by the parents.

Brahma Kumar Arun Bhai, regional coordinator of youth services wing of Brahma Kumaris, said the spiritual knowledge and practice of RajYoga meditation techniques helped in developing the positive thinking thereby reducing wasteful thoughts which in turn helped increasing memory and concentration.

A cultural programme by the participants will be held on April 3 at 11:00 am at RajYoga Bhavan, Sector 33 A.

Omshanti.
It has been a long time since anyone posted in this Section. Today I came to know of a website for the BK youth and thought of sharing the link with you all:

Actually, I happened to see a circular of the youth wing titled 'divya darpan' in Hindi. The same contained the address of the above website. There is a link to 'divya darpan' on the above site, but I could not open it as it seems to be a pdf file.

Who are the Brahma Kumaris?

We are all Brahma Kumaris. A Brahma Kumari is a human being who deeply cares about the well being of humanity to such an extent that the person is willing to change the self in order to become the change they wish to see in the world.

By using spiritual knowledge that comes from the direct Source, the Supreme Being, the Father and Mother of all human souls, they are determined to use that wisdom to absolve, transform, and eradicate human weakness such as anger, hatred, arrogance, greed, ego, jealousy, desire and fear. This restores the original virtues of the human soul, including love, peace, purity, wisdom and bliss. We are seeing the living proof of how one school, started in 1936, has grown within 72 years to 8,000 branches in 120 countries, and continues to expand. Their various projects and programs worldwide continue to be a tool to encourage positive leadership and noble character. Dadi Janki, at the age of 92, now the head of the Brahma Kumaris, continues to demonstrate spiritual wisdom and truth through her continued practical example.

The time is now calling us all to play a meaningful part in changing our world into what we know it can be.
