Seeing Through a Different Lens: a BK Film Festival

Post02 Nov 2011

So soon after rejecting a documentary made by one of their leading supporters, the BKs announce a short film festival. Another layer of whitewash, another typical Brahma Kumarism ... "one hand takes and the other hand takes away".

... a [BKWSU] initiative to bring together the creative minds within the global Brahma Kumaris community (BKs and friends of the BK family). It is a chance to discover all the talents that could offer so much to a global audience and build a community of like-minded artists going forward.
The film should be suitable for public viewing so universally recognised words must be used (i.e. no BK specific words like Murli, Avyakt BapDada, Yagya, toli etc.)

Or as Robin Ramsay would have to say, "a chance to discover all the talents that could offer so much to a global audience and build a community of like-minded artists going forward" and ban their movies from our centers if they are too truthful and we don't like them.
