Hansa Raval makes Didi status but still doing Bhakti

Post03 Nov 2013

BK Hansa Raval had made Didi status (elder Sister) apparently ... but is still doing Bhakti. Here she is doing an "Earth Purifying" ritual for the preparation of a new Brahma Kumari centre somewhere in Houston, Texas.

It's somewhat hypocritical to find Colonel Raval leading a troop of 14 young children ... when she not only left her own infant child to join the Brahma Kumaris and rise up their ranks but also encouraged other Brahma Kumari adherents to leave their children in order to dedicate their lives totally to the BKWSU.

If "Children are called mahatmas, considered to be more elevated than sages and saints", then why did she dump her own?

There is apparently no work for hypocrisy within the BKWSU.

Hansa Raval is also well known for having had a secret marriage to another BK adherent ... and apparently a full blow relationship whilst the religion ... fiddling numerous American visas for adherents, and is accused of keeping virtually indentured, unpaid servants working at her centres.

Bhumi Puja (Bhumi Pooja) is a Hindu ritual performed before the construction of a House. According to Hindu culture, the earth is considered to be a mother and Bhoomi is the Hindu goddess Mother Earth. Permission to build is asked from Bhoomi Deva to get her good will and assistance and to ask forgiveness for the disruption of the many living beings already on and in the land. It would seem to be another sop thrown to the Hindus by the BKs who believe in none of such stuff. Hinduism, or "Bhakti" being "the path of ignorance" according to them.

Bhumi puja for Brahma Kumaris' new meditation center

A group of 14 young children participated in the ceremony. Leading them is Brahma Kumaris south central U.S. director, Dr. Hansa Raval.

A tract of land near Hwy 6 and Beechnut opposite to YMCA is set to become the future home of the Brahma Kumaris of Houston. A bhumi pooja was conducted on the 8 acre site on Sunday, August 25. Mother nature provided a cool breeze and overcast skies, during a normally scorching hot season.

A group of 14 young children participated in the ceremony. They brought the power of purity, innocence and happiness, which are virtues of the Supreme Father Shiva. Children are called mahatmas, considered to be more elevated than sages and saints.

The children offered coconut water, flowers, colors (kum kum), grains and sweets (ghud) to show their appreciation for the sustenance mother earth has given us. Usually, children are the observers during a ceremony in which adults perform the ceremony. In this bhumi pooja, children performed the ceremony and parents were the observers!

The land was acquired through the generosity of multi-millionaire philanthropists Ramesh and Kiran Bhutada.

The new center will include an exhibition room highlighting the origin of all religions, a meditation experience room, a counseling room, several rooms for meditation instruction, a bookstore, and a garden for silent contemplation. The facility is expected to be completed by February 2014.

The article states Dr. Hansa Raval is based in Houston was "instrumental" in registering Brahma Kumaris and establishing the first center in the U.S.A. introducing the Brahma Kumaris to Houston in late 1970's. That's not the entire true story.

The Brahma Kumaris center in Houston currently claims nine surrendered teachers.

Ramesh Bhutada is an Indian American business who made his money running Star Pipe Products. He supports many charitable projects within his community. It does not sound like he is a BK adherent. I wonder if the Bhutadas knows what the BKs real agenda is?

But aren't the BKs suppose *not* to accept donations when they come from non-BKs because non-BKs money is impure? Perhaps that does not apply when it is a big donation?
