Do you mean, the Battle of Harvest Moon?

"Operation Harvest Moon" was part of the Americans imperial invasion of Vietnam.
In the wake of the Cuban crisis, the Russians needed a new forward base in the Caribbean area for strategic purposes until the heat was off in Cuba. To accommodate Russia, Guyana was selected for this purpose, and David Rockefeller saw to it that a Marxist named Forbes Burnham became Prime Minister.

When it was decided to use mass deaths at Jonestown as a cover for the missile-base attack, Jonestown was functioning only as an outpost of the Peoples' Temple. There were not enough people there to provide a sufficiently major incident to serve the intended purpose, and so, through both direct and indirect means, Jim Jones was persuaded to go to the Guyana kibbutz himself, taking as many of his flock as would follow him ... the key disaster of Jonestown was set into motion shortly before the Battle of the Harvest Moon.

Congressman Ryan and those who died with him at Port Kaituma Airport were casualties in the secret war that was leading up to Nuclear War One. And so were the hundreds of other American civilians who died in the so-called "mass suicide" at Jonestown, Guyana.

Not to head too far off topic, it would be better to split this topic instead, I've never read of Jonestown disaster as a flase flag cover operation ... but it's not beyond belief. Real world politics is a *lot* more ugly than ordinary people are aware of.

I have, however, considered how the Brahma Kumaris might be playing into, and could be used, in a similar episode. I doubt they are consciously part of any conspiracy, although I would consider them to be dangerously stupid and conceited enough to be swept along by one, as long as it provided them with their food; VIP contact, and money or land.

It kinds of links to topic in that it speaks to what it takes to end a cult!

Guptarati 6666, I also was there in Madhuban on Jan18 1977 and for all of that season.

The Jonestown event happened over a year later, end of '78. Having read and watched first hand testimonies of People’s Temple members and Jonestown survivors, there's nothing that indicates this was ”false flag" scenario and everything that suggests a mass mania.

Pink, I may remember you from Madhuban at that time. Prior to my visit to Madhuban in 1977, I underwent guerrilla warfare training in the Guyana jungles close to the epicenter of the Jonestown incident. The BKs first visited Guyana in December of 1975.

Guyana has great geo-strategic importance to NATO, especially the US and its grand chess game.

I heard many stories about strange events while in the Guyana jungles. The stories only can together one Sunday afternoon Thanksgiving week 1978, when 'Meet the Press', which I was watching, was interrupted with the news flash about the Jonestown incident.

I do not, however, want to free associate. The nuclear missiles from Cuba were not all destroyed nor returned to the Soviet Union. Some were deployed in the Guyana jungles, and the USA knew they were there.

Hard to say as we don't know what was happening in Jim Jones's mind, what pressures he was being subjected to, or what triggers had been planted in it.

Perhaps the State taking the opportunity to "bury bad news" might be a better way to describe it.

Given the full histories of events like, e.g. the Waco Siege (David Koresh and the Branch Davidians), the Falkland Islands, Hoover's cold war machinations, various intelligence operations and the Elites' involvement in narcotic industry, I would not put anything beyond them.

I remember the story about the day the Kremlin sent agents to investigate the Brahma Kumaris in India and I've often wondered if the BKWSU has not already been infliltrated or used especially given their pro-Nuclear War, US versus Russia agenda.

In Rhodri Jeffreys-Jones, book "In Spies We Trust", there is a whole chapter on Guyana.

In early 1977, the NY Times published an article on global leaders who were on the paylist of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). I think Jeffreys-Jones deliberately left out the Jonestown incident in his book. If he had not, he would have had to include details of the role of Her Majesty's Black Watch in the massacare of innocents that was then made into a mass poisoning by cyanide laced Kool Aid.

L.F.S. Burnham also featured in Jeffreys-Jones book was on the list.

Mr. Burnham gave his blessings to the BK setting up shop in Guyana in 1975. Guyana became the launch pad for service in the United States and West Indies.

Guyana, with its large Indian population, was always the port of call for many holy men and women. There was also gossip at many levels in Guyanese society that the swamis and sadhus visiting Guyana were possible operatives of the CIA.

There's another well referenced link, here which does indeed name check the Black Watch.

The BKs must have been "checked out" by the global elite and accepted for their willingness to ask no questions, say nothing, suck up to power and produce submissive individuals ... perhaps even "make dictators look spiritual" by offering them their stage?

The BKs gain from it financially, scoring the odd bit of land or building. The dictators gain from it by making themselves appear more appealing to the moral or religious.

It's always a wonder to me who the "pure" Brahma Kumaris will jump into bed with ... Guyanese Prime Minister Forbes Burnham is said to have risen to power as the result of vote rigging and a CIA-inspired and funded coup against Cheddi Jagan, the democratically elected socialist leader.

Guyana, during Thanks Giving week of 1978, almost became the epicenter for WW III. More intriguing, however, is another national disaster, which reached it tipping point or beyond after festering for a decade in the fall of 1987. It was the thallium poisoning epidemic of 1986/1987, which the United States corrupt paramilitary establishment, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) defined as an epidemic of false positives.

Robust data gathered by Errol, who was the government veterinary medical officer (GVMO) assigned to the Georgetown Zoo, one of the major epicenters of the heavy metal toxicosis, has refuted the pseudo-scientific and politically motivated claims claims of the CDC. Errol's investigations and those of physicians and scientists had demonstrated that the thallium had gootten into the food chain of Guyana and people and animals were dying. He had also alerted the center in charge about the public health aspects of the thallium toxicosis.

Kamud mistrusted Errol's advice, but she did subsequently ensured that the water tanks in the BK compound were secured. Errol's work with the animals at the Georgetown Zoo were remarkable in contributing to saving the lives of many Guyanese and animals. His scientific investigation almost catalyzed a political implosion of the regime in Guyana; a regime on friendly terms with the BKs!

His rewards from the Guyana government and the BKs were interesting. He was black listed by the Guyanese regime, placed under 24/7 surveilance, psychologically harrassed at work and he was able to foil an assassination against him. Though the BKs in Texas assisted him with medical advice initially and were negotiating to have him flown to Fort Sam Houstan for treatment, it apprears that the Texas Raj Yoga center was asked to stand down in offering assistance to Errol. Instead, in the early fall of 1990, when Errol attended a public lecture at the Georgetown center by Mohini of NYC, the Senior Sister approriated part of her public lecture to personally attacking Errol. Only him and her knew that she was giving him a tongue lashing for his interactions with the BKs in Guyana and the Guyana government as a dissident doctor.

He got a tongue lashing for standing up to and questioning authority?

For causing a "scene" that might have caused the BKs embarrassment within political circles?

Since the time of the Trans Atlantic slave trade, Guyana has been exporting sugar and one of the major sugar producing corporations in Guyana was Bookers, a British company and later Tate and Lyle. Sugar has been a major foreign exchange earner for Guyana. In 1976 the Burnham regime nationalized the sugar industry, though Tate and Lyle continued to purchase sugar and sugar related products from Guyana.

The state owner sugar corporation, GuySUCO has for decades been importing thallium sulfate into Guyana against a ban and restrictions imposed by the World Health Organization. From the late 1970s onwards, there were increased cases of thallium poisoning in humans and animals, some fatal. The Burnham and later the Hoyt regime persistently suppressed incidents of thallium poisoning in their state controlled media.

In the mid-summer of 1986, Errol returned to Guyana after nine years of non-stop training in veterinary medicine, including post-doctoral research and post doctoral training in zoological medicine. Initially he was hosted by the BKs in Georgetown but found the housing and other accommodations incompatible with his ways of yogi life. He had also not seen his lokiks for almost a decade and they pleaded with him to live with them until his permanent posting as a veterinary officer. He left the BK compound after being there for less than a month and lived with his lokiks in rural Guyana. He was assigned the veterinary officer of the Georgetown Zoo a few weeks later.

After a few months at the zoo, Dr. Walcott noticed an abnormal pattern of mortality rate among the zoo animal population and conducted toxicological investigation at the zoo. His data demonstrated that more than 70 % of the animal population were at risk of dying due to body burdens of thallium. His data also indicated that there was criminal activity or political sabotage associated with the exposure of the zoo animals.

The Hoyt regime closed the zoo and by mid-December of 1986 released a front page article in its state run newspaper, the Guyana Chronicle about the poisoning at the zoo and in the country. The medical community in Guyana was elated. Dr. Walcott's investigations at the zoo had influenced the regime to openly discuss thallium poisoning after suppressing it for almost a decade.

And 99% of the Sisters, at least Indian Sisters, have no where else to go.

I wonder if they will be left sitting in empty centres going through the motions on their own ... or when the BK elite will start selling up the satellite centres and centralising the cult's wealth to support them in their palaces?

Aren't the centre locations said to become picnic locations in the Golden Age? I seem to remember hearing that. Like islands.

I felt sorry for the young Hindi/Sindi Sisters surrendered with their white saris on, most of them highly educated lovely kind sweet Indian girls.

After I left, I really felt that they deserved more.

The whole thing is immoral.

They ... we all, basically ... signed up on the "two to three years until Destruction" line.

A short enough number to gamble on, but long enough to become completely indoctrinated within, especially when subjected to 24/7/365 strict "training" the young Sisters get put through.

In two to three years time, it becomes another two to three years, then another two to three years ... but which time there is no going back, they've missed their chance to have a family or an education and start a career, and they've started to join the big lie indoctrinating others into the "two to three years until Destruction" line.

Honestly, how many of us would have stuck it out if it wasn't for the Destruction line ... or now "Transformation by 2036!".

At best they get offer a chance to become a "corporate consultant" ... but how many make a living out of that? Talking of which, look at how Aruna Ladva has aged. Is she on the BKs' payroll or selling "her own" books now? Is it her own brand or just a Brahma Kumaris front? It's a bit much when they start handing out wisdom about It's time for Relationships, ("How Spiritual Wisdom can Bring Freedom in Relationships") ... doesn't she mean "freedom from relationships" ... or Pregnancy.
I wonder how many of the Sisters just signed up to escape a lousy arranged marriage?

I wonder how many achieve any more than just being a cook, dishwasher, or housekeeper for the Kirpalani Klan?
Did you ever ask the Sisters why they did, Mr Green?

Aruna says she was just 8 years old, a child, when she was introduced ... by her mother, I suppose?

Yes, once foreign centres started to be established, their god spirit used to say that in the Golden Age they would become islands in the middle of the ocean where they could go for picnics in their mind controlled flying machines. I suppose it was just to appease their attachment to their own country and cook up some kind of excuse.

Prior to that, it was always that all other continents would sink beneath the oceans except a pre-Independence India floating on its own.

The vast majority of centres are in low lying locations so they won't be.
