InspiredStillness.com - another Brahma Kumari Shop Facade

Post15 Nov 2014

The Brahma Kumaris take a step even further is hiding their connection to yet another shop front, or facade for their cult this time called ... InspiredStillness.com. Was it not for the Brahma Kumaris' deviousnesses, and life wasting tracking record, one would inclined to call it more "Inspired Silliness" ... but this is good business for the BKs - selling to BKs and non-BKs alike - and brings in £300,000, or nearly half a million US Dollars, per year.

Seemingly a way to earn money off individuals without them even knowing their giving to the Brahma Kumaris, paying to be softened up and indoctrinated.

BKs ditch their corporate red and even the BK god spirit even a remodelling into a vague ... Squiggly Shiva ... with Paramdham turned purple.

The Brahma Kumaris have obviously had their designers and marketing team working double time on all this ... what it is? Have they ditched "Inner Space"? Is this the new look for the same business ... BK Publications?

Or just more artful disguise of the same old cultic religion turning more and more into a commercial venture?

There are no obvious clues that the Inspired Stillness is a Brahma Kumari front except its address and a brief note saying it is a "BKIS website". 'BKIS' stands for 'Brahma Kumari Information Services', a separate business from the so called charity which holds £377,097 in cash ... cash the BKs presumably don't have to give away as "charity" ... and for which they pay themselves a fee to manage. Originally, created as 'Brahma Kumaris INFORMATION CENTRE', over the years it has gradually disguises its primary evangelistic purpose. It take some searching to find a reference to the BKWSU, which still falsely promotes itself as a "university". It's also Tweets it's special offers ... buy, buy, buy! ... and has it's own Facebook page.

On the business side of the Brahma Kumaris in the UK, it's interesting to see they have registered their Brahma Kumaris' Edinburgh centre as a business not a charity and classed it under ...
Premise Type: Hospitals & Medical Establishments
Business Classification: Alternative Medical Treatments And Therapies

And their Brahma Kumaris West Bromwich centre, their Brahma Kumaris Isle of Man centre, Brahma Kumaris Worthing Centre, Brahma Kumaris Leeds centre, Brahma Kumaris Newcastle-upon-Tyne centre, Brahma Kumaris Houndslow centre and others as "Other Human Health Activities" and, laughably, "Fitness Facilities" or "Physical Well-Being Activities".

In a non-limited company the business owners and the company are legally the same entity – the owner(s) are the company and are therefore liable for all the debts, as well as receiving all of the profits. The companies appear to be held in individual's names.

A non-limited company has the advantage that it does not have to file public accounts or other returns with Companies House.

Thanks for that ... looks like more audacious accounting from our "angelic" friends.

BK Information Services ...

Fixed Assets £439,643
Depreciation £435,557

Net value £4,086

There's an additional charge of £4,086 which, if memory serves correct, is paid to the BKWSU charity.

Profits for the year ... from serving humanity? ... £47,354.

Apparently they also made significant enough losses from the year before to go against future trading profits.

In my opinion, from a spiritual point of view, it's obscene what they are up to. It's a joke. One big financial vacuum cleaner sucking it up however they can.

Well, I suppose the idea of making a profit out of "serving humanity" is a bit of a joke.

But we all know it's been keeping them in the comforts to which they are accustomed for decades now.
