Dear Brother Proy,
Omshanti. 'Vani' is a Sanskrit or Hindi word which literally refer to the sounds emerging from the mouth. But generally, in the path of worship in India, this word is supposed to mean the words of God and also used by some for the words of many gurus.
In the BK path of knowledge, this word became popular after the Avyakt Vanies began to be narrated through the mouth of Gulzar Dadi.
But among the PBKs, this word also refers to the words of God Shiv being spoken through the mouth of the present human Chariot, i.e. Shankar in addition to the generally popular word, i.e. Murli.
With regards,
On Godly service,
Arjun
