The BKWSU Wikipedia article became the scene for an editing war with impartiality becoming the first victim.
On the 10 July 2006, rather than engage in discussion as the embodiment of moderation, a US based BK supporter decided to attack Jimbo Wales’ entire Wikipedia project with :

Leaving readers to decide whether such a supporter’s official website is likely to be an impartial source of information. Yet, in recent studies by Nature magazine, the Wikipedia fared almost as highly at the Encyclopedia Britannica for accuracy. Defended by members of the Wikipedia anti-vandalism team, who have the article on watch, this was removed only to be re-instated by the same user ;

No explanation of what, no allegations substantiated on the discussion page. On the 14 July 2006, user Anbu400 then repeated a regular edit, removing ;

Followers of the BKWSU are known as “BKs”, Brahma Kumaris [female] or Brahma Kumars [male]; literally, the daughters or sons of Brahma.
And replacing it with the latest party line that the ;

Then, on 19 July 2006 the Wiki has the privilege of welcoming user Karunabk, who we are led to believe is none other than B.K. Karuna, Chief of MultiMedia and Global PublicRelations at the BKWSU.
Strangely perhaps, none of the mention of “spirit channelling”, “possession” or “Destruction of the World” concerns the Chief. It is all and any mention of the more successful splinter group “Prajapita Brahma Kumaris” and links to PBK websites. Also known by the BKWSU as “The Shankar Party”.
The PBKs, as they are known, see themselves as teaching Advanced BK Knowledge and are led by an individual banned from every BKWSU Raja Yoga centre whom many believe is now channelling the same spirit called Shiva that possessed and initiated Lekhraj Kirpalani into BK Raja Yoga, founding both organizations.
The dispute between the two groups, both claiming the same channelled spirit guide, lies to incidents relating to Lekhraj Kirpalani’s business partner named Sevak Ram, who ran Kirpalani’s shop in Calcutta. PBKs claim that it was the body of Sevak Ram through which Shiva explained to Dada Lekhraj the meaning of his many experiences and visions; and that their god Shiva started his divine task through Sevak Ram along with his wife Gita Mata and Dada Lekhraj.
Sevak Ram and Gita Mata died between 1947-48 and have been written out of BKWSU history.
As ruthlessly as Stalin at the peak of Communist historical revisionism, user Karunabk follows exorcising the PBKs by editing out all ex-BK and critical weblinks too.
