On the 4th of July 1938, the ‘Prajapati Brahma-kumaris’ of the ‘Om Mandli’, as the BKWSU was then known, were required by law to supply a list of the names, ages and addresses of their members. Listed was founder and medium Lekhraj Khubchand Kripalani, aka ‘Brahma Baba’. From “Is this Justice” published in Om Radhe’s name, there is a list of cult members dated 4 July 1938. This shows Kripalani’s date of birth was 1884, NOT the 1876 the BKWSU currently claims. Kripalani was 52 when God Shiva allegedly incarnated into him as a medium in 1936.

There is NO evidence to support that the original Prajapati Brahma-kumaris believed that Shiva entered Kripalani nor was he 60 years old as the BKWSU claim.

All the early teaching and publicity materials refer to Kirplani as being “Prajapati God Brahma”. There is no importance given to a 1936 date. The book also states that the statsangs and retirement of Kripalani started in 1932.

Many consider that the falsifying of the date of birth of Lekhraj Kriplani was an attempt by the later leadership of the BKWSU to sustain predictions made by “God Shiva”. Predictions that the true medium of God was 60 years old at the point when Shiva possessed him. Or perhaps to fit in with predictions that 1976 would the End of the World.

At the beginning of the history of the BKWSU, and again at the death of Kripalani in 1969 aged 85, numerous other individuals were used as uncontrolled mediums or channels by the possessing spirits, one of which was Kripalani’s sleeping partner Narain Shewakram who was aged 60.

The current leadership of the BKWSU also contradict another published fact and claim that it was Kripalani that who was the sleeping partner. Said by the BKWSU to be ‘Eve’ or the ‘Mother of Humanity’, 20 year old Om Radhe goes on to state that rather than a simple, equitable 50:50 split when the partnership was dissolved, Shewakram still actually owed Kirpalani money in 1938 and went on to become the secretary of the ‘Om Mandli Bhaibund Committee’.

From these documents, severe questions are also being raised about the accuracy of the life story of Chief BKWSU Administrator Dadi Janki whose name does not appear amongst the original committee despite claims she was a founding member.

Quote BKWSU;
BKWSU wrote:“Brahma Baba, born into a humble home as Lekhraj Kripalani in 1876, was the son of a village schoolmaster. Lekhraj was brought up within the disciplines of the Hindu tradition. He did not follow in his Father’s footsteps as a teacher; instead he entered the jewellery business, earning considerable fortune as a diamond trader. As a businessman and as a family man, Father of five children, Dada Lekraj maintained a highly respectable position within the local community and was known for his philanthropy.

Then, in 1936, at the age of 60, when most of his colleagues were planning their retirement, Dada Lekhraj entered into the most active and fascinating phase of his life, during which he became known as Brahma Baba.“
