Service through pure money

Post08 Aug 2007

In addition to Mind and Body, Money is also a important form of service in Baba's Yagya. But it is said in Sakar Murli's that a poor person's One Rupee is equivalent to a rich one's One crore or even more.

And your point is?! Unfortunately, that piece of Shrimat seems to be ignored, and money is taken from any source possible. Sorry if this seems abrupt, but the random giving of Murli points with no context is not terribly helpful, and I am sure someone else here would have said it if I didnt ...

I would have said it :!:

Read yesterday's Sakar Murli that the BKWSU published and you see the seeds of this service through PURE MONEY nonsense. Shall I quote, SELECTIVELY, a few sections? Nah, they will say that i am extracting the points to support my deluded opinions. Oh, and BTW, yesterday's Sakar Murli actually sanctioned the advertising of Godly Knowledge. So you see Yude, the BKWSU organisation has it every which way. Wakey, Wakey the Murli IS the tool that washes your brain and befuddles your mind. Nowadays I have become so 'ignorant' that i am wondering whether in the eyes of the BK Organisation PURE MONEY means ANY money that they get a hold of and claim to use for so-called Godly SERVICE; and i mean ANY money. The old-timers can share with us all the strictures they were given back in the day AGAINST money business. But what do we see today?

Another time I will share some thoughts about the comical air of lordly detachment with which the Seniors or some nominated minion (pure?) take the envelopes of cash from students (pure?) and put same in boxes or upright earthenware pots that they have on stage at some events. The result of which is BKWSU enrichment through Money, Money, Money whether it be pure or not.

Mitra Bhai care to share with us what exactly is pure money?; and how is money made pure? And while you are at Mitra Bhai, or any other BK, why not share with us whether the 3 enormous BK properties on the Worthing (England) seafront were "acquired" using pure money? Now people, those residences most have costed some seriously plentiful pure mula.
Same applies even if the BKWSU are just renting them. And as for the cost of the rennovations!, do not even ask, as God Shiva often says.

Om Shanti

P.S If only i could locate my Wally Jump Jr & The Criminal Element Orchestra album on which there is a track where they sing something like: "Money, money, money, Mula yah! ... visa, american express do not tell me about no credit cards because i say cash is the best", it might add some funkiness to this topic. (Apologies to the group for having mangled the lyric - memory fails me a little - but nonetheless it is a funky track if one is/was into that sort of Funk-styled hip hop from back-in-the-day. It sure helped me out dancing feet. What a juxtaposition! A BK contrtasted with a Criminal Element of anything let alone an Orchestra :P Ah well aint no BK ever gonna listen to that record, me thinks.

Now back to Service through PURE MONEY ...

Omshanti.

Since Mitra Bhai has started a topic on service through money/wealth in the Yagya, I thought it appropriate to quote a few Murli points related to the topic. I hope you would not mind it.

The latter part of the first Murli quote dtd 16.03.06 also answers to some extent his doubts on why BKWSU does not indulge in social service or the service of the lokik world through money.

"Now this is Rajaswa Ashwamedh imperishable Rudra Yagya of knowledge. Its creator is mother and Father. (Tat-twam) So are you. You are also creators of the Yagya. All of you children should take a lot of care of this Yagya. One should have a lot of respect for this Yagya. Complete care is taken of the Yagya. This is head office. There are other branches also. Mama, Baba and you children. All of you are making your future like a diamond through this Yagya. So one should take so much care and show so much respect to such a Yagya. One should have so much love. This is a Yagya of our Mama, Jagat Amba (World Mother). The Yagya of Mama Baba is our Yagya. ... Many children write to Baba that they wish to start the Yagya at their home. OK children, you may establish the Yagya bhoomi (site for Yagya). Someone or the other will benefit from it. This Yagya is very much praiseworthy. This is the land of Yagya, where Sisters keep causing benefit to others ... Children should have a lot of respect for the Yagya.

Picking up even a single paisa of the Yagya without the permission of mother or Father, or giving it to anyone is a great sin. You are children. You can get anything anytime. Why should you take more and store? They think, 'I don't know whether I would get in future or not'; so, when they keep such things, then their heart pinches, because it is an act against the rule, isn’t it? ... There are a lot of children who have a lot of money. They are told that whenever there is a requirement their money would be used. They say that Baba, whenever you need, we are ready. Although they do not remain pure; they do not even follow abstinence of food. But they make a pledge – Baba, we have a lot of money. It will somehow get finished. Someone may eat away the wealth in between. That is why whenever you require you can use it. Baba says, 'What will I do?' When a building is to be constructed, the money comes automatically ...

One must take good care of this Yagya. If we take good care of this Yagya, then it is like pleasing Baba. Care is required in every matter. Every pie of poor people comes in this Yagya, due to which they become Padampati (multimillionaires). Mothers, who do not possess anything, give one or two rupees, eight annas in the Yagya and become multimillionaires, because they bring that amount with a lot of emotions and joy. Father says, ‘I am a Gareeb Nivaaz (i.e. a friend of the poor people) only. I have come only for you children.’ Some children bring 8 Annas. Baba, add a brick in the building with this money. Sometimes, they bring two handfuls of food grains also. They get a lot of returns. Every pie becomes a royal coin (muhar).

It is not that you have to make donations to the poor people. Those people donate to the poor people. There are so many poor people in the world. If everyone comes and sits here, then they will spoil our heads. Many people say that we will surrender our life for the Yagya. But one has to be careful while taking them. If it is not done like that, then, they will come in the Yagya and create an uproar. In the Yagya one should become a very pious soul. One should be very careful. One should have a lot of regard for the Yagya - the Godly Yagya, which takes care of our livelihood. It is a big sin to give the money of Yagya to anyone. This money is for those who transform themselves from cowries to diamonds, those who are engaged in Godly service. As regards giving money to poor people etc., you have been making these donations and performing pious actions since many births. While climbing down, you have been becoming sinful souls only."

"Yah toh BapDada hai deney vaala. Yah lekar kya karengey. Baap toh niraakaar hai na. Lengey saakaar. Yah bhi samajhney kee baat hai. Aisa kabhi nahee kahnaa chaahiye ki ham ShivBaba ko detey hain. Nahee, hamney ShivBaba say padam liya, diya nahee. Baba toh tumko anginat detey hain. ShivBaba toh data hai, tum unko dengey kaisey? Mainey diya, yah samajhney say fir deh-abhimaan aa jaata hai. Ham ShivBaba say lay rahey hain. Baba kay paas itnay dher bachhey aatey hain, aakar rahtey hain, toh prabandh chaahiye na. Goya tum detey ho apney liye. Unko apnaa thodey hee kuch karnaa hai. Rajdhaani bhi tumko detey hain. Isliye kartey bhi tum ho. Tumko apney say bhi oonch banaata hoon. Aisey Baap ko tum bhool jaatey ho." (BKs dwara prakaashit Revised Sakar Murli taareekh 17.10.05, page 3)

"This BapDada is a giver. What will He do by taking? Father is incorporeal, isn’t it? It is corporeal who takes. This is also a matter to be understood. One should never say that we give to ShivBaba. No; we have taken multimillions (Padam) and not given to ShivBaba. Baba gives uncountable wealth to you. ShivBaba is giver; how can you give Him? If you think that 'I gave', then body consciousness emerges. We are taking from ShivBaba. So many children come to Baba; they come and live. So arrangements are required, isn’t it? So, in a way you give for yourself. Has He anything to do for Himself? He even gives the kingdom to you. That is why it is you who perform actions. I make you greater than myself. You forget such a Father." (Revised Sakar Murli dated 17.10.05, page 3 published by BKs, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba, translated by a PBK)

You are doing stalwart service by even by BK standards, Arjun. What ever the BKs did to lose you, I hope they repent for it.

"Every pie becomes a royal coin". Did you mean "pie" or 'paise'? (Not sure of spelling). Pie would date the Murli to Pre-1957, which is interesting.

1 Rupee used to equal 16 annas, 64 paise, or 192 pies. Decimalisation followed in 1957. I only know the theory ... what was the practise in India?

Those who give large amounts get a personal meeting with BapDada however insincere they may be.

Those who give 50p sit on the floor behind the Seniors.

I asked my parents who were born in the Pre-Independance years. They said they have not heard of 'pie' in their living memory, although they have heard about it. But they used paise to purchase vegetables. 2 paise could fetch a kilo of common vegetables.

As regards Annas, I have used them to purchase bus tickets and vegetables in my childhood. In the mid-1980s, 4 Annas used to buy a kilogram of tomatoes. Now, during a normal season, a kilogram of tomatoes may cost Rupees 10 = 160 Annas.

Now, the minimum amount of currency that is in circulation in India is the 50 paise coin (= 8 Annas). Next is the one rupee coin.

By the way, I did not leave the BKs because I was angry with them or that they did anything wrong to me. As long as I was a BK, I was treated well, even though I did not invest any money (I had none at that time, as I was a student) in BKWSU. I became a PBK just to meet ShivBaba in corporeal form and not for any other reason. For me, BKs are as dear as the PBKs on non-BKs. But this love will not prevent me from speaking the truth.

I wanna meet ShivBaba in corporeal form

So Arjun Bhai could we say that it was your discontent with the idea of bodiless God Shiva that resulted in your jumping ship? Or was it plain old fashioned body consciousness on your part? Or maybe a pure desire of yours to meet God Shiva Baba in the corporeal form as you put it? Whose corporeal form? Yours or His (God ShivBaba's).

Have you ever touched or wanted to touch ShivBaba? If so, what does it feel like? If not, what does it feel like to be desirous of touching God ShivBaba? Was there anything in the BKWSU Godly knowledge that led you to believe that ShivBaba was still here with us in some corporeal Chariot? Or was that your own elevated churnings? Share with us why Incorporeal ShivBaba did not quite hit the mark for you, please. We all might learn something. Thanks.

I noticed the forum Admin reminding us to explicit in our useage of these specialist terms. For the benefit of the www can you advise whether when you say ShivBaba you actually mean GOD Himself. Thanks.

Hi Yudishtira! It feels as if you took a break in a very nice powerful place, reading your latest posts! Not that the older ones were less interesting, but ... share with us your secret retreat place!!

Actually, I did write something on "parrots" on the 4th in the commonroom, Bhakti topic, referring to the exact same thing you mentioned. Well, what to do?? Every one has his own role! Malachiel, few days ago came up with a funny expression, "Murli repeating machines". I liked that!! So appropriate! Maybe we have some allergy to artificiality.

That is a very good motto ArjunBhai, I hope you always show courage to stand by it.
