"Baap samjhaatey hain bachchey, is puraani duniya say mamatwa mitaa doh, dehi abhimaani bano. Ismay badee mehnat lagtee hai. Nirantar us Baap ko aur sukhhdhaam ko Yaad karnaa hai. Baap ko kabhi koi baat may dukhh nahee hota. Saakshi ho dekhtey hain. Bachchey kab beemaar, rogi ban padtey hain toh kya ShivBaba ko afsos hota hoga? Kabhi nahee. Kahengey drama anusaar karmabhog toh harek ko bhognaa hee hai. Jaisey vah saakshi ho dekhtey hain, bachchon ko bhi saakshi ho dekhnaa hai. Behad ka Baap, vah hai Parampita Parmatma. Unka bachchon may love toh bahut hai na. Parmaatmaa ka aatmaaon may love hai. Baap kahtey hain mai jaantaa hoon harek karma anusaar dukhh-sukhh paatey hain. Saakshi ho dekhtey hain. Bachchon ko bhi aisey saakshi ho dekhnaa hai." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 3.04.08, pg 1)

“The Father explains – Children, become detached from this old world; become soul conscious. This involves a lot of efforts. One should remember that Father and the abode of happiness continuously. The Father never feels sad in any matter. He observes like a detached observer (saakshi). Sometimes children fall sick, become diseased; so, does ShivBaba feel sorrowful? Never. He will say – Everyone has to definitely suffer the punishments for the karma as per drama. Just as He observes like a detached observer, children should also observe like a detached observer. The Father in an unlimited sense is the Supreme Father Supreme Soul. He has a lot of love for the children, does He not? The Supreme Soul has a lot of love for the souls. The Father says – I know that everyone gets sorrows and happiness as per their karma. He observes like a detached observer. Similarly, children should also observe like a detached observer.” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 03.04.08, pg 1 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

"Sab bhakt Baap ko jaroor Yaad kartey hain. Baap sab kuchh karke bachchon ko sukhee banaaye khud chip jaatey hain. Baap aatey hee hain ek baar. Kahtey hain drama anusaar mujhey sankalp uthtaa hai mai ab jaaun. Shareeer kaa aadhaar jaroor lena padey. Jaisey aatma bigar shareeer bol nahee sakteee. Garbh may bachcha banta hai fir badaa honay say bolnaa seekhtaa hai. Baap toh aatey hee badey shareeer may hain. Mera bhi paart hai, mai ek hee baar aakar sabko Maya ke dukhon say liberate kartaa hoon." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 3.04.08, pg 2)

“All the devotees certainly remember the Father. The Father does everything, makes the children happy and then hides himself. The Father comes only once. He says – as per drama I get a thought that I should now go (to the corporeal world). I have to definitely take the support of a body. For example, a soul cannot speak without a body. A foetus develops in the womb; then he learns to speak when he grows-up. The Father comes in a grown-up body only. I too have a part to play; I come only once and liberate everyone from the sorrows of Maya.” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 03.04.08, pg 2 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

Koi mehnat nahee karaataa hoon. Yogbal say vikarmon ko bhasma karnaa hai. Vikarmon ka bojha sir par bahut hai. Beemaari khaansi aadi hoti hai, yah janma-janma ke hisaab-kitaab kee bhognaa hai. Ab Jagdamba-Jagatpita hai, kitnaa unka naam baalaa hai! Pooja ho rahee hai. Manushya thodey hee jaantey ki Jagdamba antim janma may kaun thee? Ab Jagdamba-Jagatpita ka practical may part chal raha hai. Toh inko bhi dekho sab janmon ka hisaab-kitaab chuktu karnaa padtaa hai. Itnaa Yoga lagaatey hain, service bhi kartey hain fir bhi karmabhog, operation aadi karaaney padtey hain." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 3.04.08, pg 2)

“ShivBaba says – I have come to make children the masters of heaven, masters of the world. I do not make you do any hard work. You have to burn the sins through the power of Yoga. There is a lot of burden of sins on the head. One suffers from diseases, cough, etc.; all this is the suffering of karmic accounts of many births. Well, Jagdamba and Jagatpita (World Mother and World Father) are so famous! They are being worshipped. People do not know as to what was Jagdamba in her last birth? Now the part of Jagdamba-Jagatpita is going on in practical. So, look they too have to clear the karmic accounts of many births. They do so much Yoga (i.e. remember the Father so much), they do so much service; even then they have to suffer punishments for the sins (karmabhog), get operated, etc.” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 03.04.08, pg 2 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

"Us sanyaas aur is sanyaas may bahut fark hai. Vah toh gharbaar chod kafani pahan sanyasi ban jaatey hain. Ham toh purushaarth kartey rahtey hain. Jab anth aayega tab hamaara poora sanyaas hoga. Abhi purushaarthi hain. Un sanyaasiyon ke liye aisey nahee kahengey ki purushaarthi sanyaasi hain. Unhonay toh gharbaar choda aur naam padaa sanyaasi. Ham sanyaas ke liye Baba dwara kitnee mehnat kartey hain. Toh yah anek janmon ka bojha sir par hai. Kitnaa Yoga may rahtey hain, auron ko sukhh detey hain. Unkee aasheervaad bhi miltee hai toh bhi dekho karmabhog nikal padtaa. Karmaateet avastha hui nahee hai, vah anth may honee hai. Yah janma-janmaantar ke karmon ka hisaab kitaab hai. Abhi poorey sanyaasi baney nahee hain. Vah gharbaar chod jungle may jaakar baithtey hain. Vikaari manushya unkee seva kartey hain. Aisey bhi nahee vah koi sab paavan baney huay hain." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 3.04.08, pg 2&3)

“There is a lot of difference between that sanyaas (renunciation) and this sanyaas. They renounce the household, wear kafani (dress of the sanyasis) and become sanyaasi. We keep making efforts. When the end comes then our sanyaas would be complete. Now we are effort makers. It will not be said for those sanyasis that they are effort making sanyasis. They renounced the household and they got the name sanyaasi. We make so much effort for sanyaas through Baba. So, this is a burden of many births that is on our heads. We do so much Yoga, give happiness to others. We also receive their blessings; even then, look, punishments for sinful actions emerge. We have not achieved karmaateet stage. That is going to be achieved in the end. This is an account of the karma of many births. Now we have not become complete sanyaasis. There is a difference of day and night (i.e. a world of difference) between their sanyaas and our sanyaas. They leave the household and sit in the jungle. Vicious human beings serve them. It is not as if all of them have become pure.” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 03.04.08, pg 2&3 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

"Baap kahtey hain ab marnaa hai. Jaroor nirvaandhaam may jaanaa hai toh kyon na kamaai karnee chaahiye. Aur dharma vaaley bhi aakar lakshya lengey. Bachchon nay saakshaatkaar kiya hai – Abraham, Christ, aadi kee aatmaaen aati hain – salaami bharney, lakshya leney. Baaki knowledge nahee lengey. Haan, koi Brahmin kul bhooshan hoga toh uth padega. Brahman kulbhooshan ban-ney bigar devtaa kul bhooshan ban na sakein. Brahman baney fir devtaa baney. Devtaa hee kshatriya, vaishya fir Shudra bantey hain." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 3.04.08, pg 4)

“The Father says – now we have to die. We have to certainly go to the nirvaandhaam (the supreme abode), so why shouldn’t we earn the income? People of other religions would also come and take the aim. Children have had visions – the souls of Abraham, Christ, etc. come to salute, to take the aim. But they will not obtain The Knowledge. Yes, if he is a Brahman kulbhooshan (a jewel of the Brahmin clan) he would rise. One cannot become a jewel of the deity clan without becoming a jewel of the Brahmin clan. If someone becomes a Brahmin, then he can become a deity. Deities themselves become kshatriyas, vaishyas and then shudras.” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 03.04.08, pg 4 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

"Shri Lakshmi Narayan jo worth pound thay unhon ko bhi 84 janma poorey karney hain. So agar nishchay ho jaaye ki behad ke Baap say varsa jaroor lena hai, jis say aadhakalpa sukhh paatey rahtey hain toh kyon nahee purushaarth karein. Chodney kee toh baat hi nahee hai. Vah Sindh ka part tha. Likha hua hai Krishna nay bhagaayaa, gau charaatey thay. Bhagaayaa toh kya gaali khaaney ke liye! Bhagaayaa patraani banaaney ke liye! Yah toh bhatti ban-nee thi. Tapasya kar service laayak ban-na tha. Ab toh koi mushkil service laayak bantey hain. So tum practical anubhavi ho." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 3.04.08, pg 4)

“Even Shri Lakshmi Narayan, who were worth pound, have to complete (The Cycle of) 84 births. So, if one develops the faith that we have to definitely obtain the inheritance from the unlimited Father, through whom we keep getting happiness for half a Kalpa, then why will he not make efforts? There is no question of renouncing (the household) at all. That was a part/role of Sindh. It has been written that Krishna made (Gopis) to elope; he used to take cows for grazing. If he made to elope, did he do it to face abuses? He made them elope to make them Patranis (queens)! The bhatti was to be established. You had to become capable of doing service by doing tapasya. Now hardly anyone becomes capable of service. You have practically experienced that.” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 03.04.08, pg 4 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

"Tum bachchey ab jaantey ho barobar vishwa ka rachayita ShivBaba Brahma tan say hamko vishwa ka maalik banaaney purushaarth karaatey hain. Baap kahtey hain agar hamaari mehnat vyarth ganvaayengey, apnee chalan say bahuton ko dhokha dengey toh pad bhrasht ho padengey. Kahengey insay toh bhoot niklaa nahee hai. Bachchon kee chalan aisee honee chaahiye jo sab samjhein yah toh jaisey devtaa hai. Devtaaen naamigraami hain. Kahtey hain inka swabhaav ekdam devtaai hai. Toh baaki ka understood aasuri hua na. Kayi bachchey badey firstclass devtaai, gunvaan hain. Bilkul meethey shaant swabhaav ke hain. Toh aisey bachchon ko baap dekh khush hotey hain. Bachchey samajhtey hain Baap ham bachchon ke liye makaan banwaa rahey hain toh hamko bhi seva karnee chaahiye. Toh aisey bachchey bahut dil par chadhtey hain." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 4.04.08, pg 2&3)

“Now you children know that definitely the creator of the world, ShivBaba is enabling us to make efforts to become the masters of the world through the body of Brahma. The Father says – If you turn my hard work into vain, if you dupe many through your behaviour, then you will lose your post. People would say that these people have not got rid of the ghost. The behaviour of children should be such that everyone should think of them as deities. Deities are well known. People say – his behaviour is completely like the deities. So, it is understood that the behaviour of the rest is demoniac, isn’t it? Many children are firstclass, like deities and virtuous. They have a completely peaceful nature. So, the Father feels pleased to observe such children. Children understand that the Father is building a house for us children. So, we should also serve. So, such children find a place in (Baba’s) heart.” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 04.04.08, pg 2&3 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

"Jo bigar kahney say kaam karey vah devtaa, kahney say karey vah manushya. Kahney say bhi na karey toh vah manushya say bhi badtar hua…..Baap aata hai swarg ka maalik banaaney toh Baap ke saath kitnaa madadgaar ban-na chaahiye. Service may aapey hee kaam may lag jaana chaahiye. Aisey nahee mai thak gaya hoon, fursat nahee hai. Samay par sab kaam karney may kalyaan hai. Yagya service ka izafa ShivBaba detey hain. Yah Baba karke baahar say thodee khaatiri karengey, dil lengey. Vah Baba hai behad kee dil leney vala, yah hai had kee dil leney vala. Bachchon kee daivi chalan dekhtey hain toh fir kurbaan jaatey hain. Bigar kahey jo bachchey service may tatpar rahtey hain unko kahaa jaataa hai devtaa. Devtaaon ko kuchch kahney kee darkaar nahee hotee." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 4.04.08, pg 3)

“Those who perform a task without being told to do are deities; those who do on being told are human beings. Those who don’t do in spite of being told are worse than human beings……The Father comes to make us the masters of heaven; so we should help the Father so much. One should become busy in service voluntarily. One should not say that – I am tired, I don’t have time. There is benefit in doing everything at the required time. ShivBaba gives the incentive for Yagya service. This Baba may give outer respect to some extent, win someone’s heart. That Baba wins the heart in an unlimited sense. This one wins the heart in a limited sense. When he observes the divine behaviour of children, he sacrifices himself on them. Those children who remain busy in service without being prompted to do so are called deities. There is no need to prompt the deities (to do something).” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 04.04.08, pg 3 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

"Manushyon nay Satyug kee aayu laakhon varsh samajh lee hai. Toh tum hisaab-kitaab bataatey ho 5 hazaar varsh kaisey hai. Christ ko do hazaar varsh hua, Buddh ko 2250 varsh hua, fir Islami ko 2500 varsh huay. Sabko milaakar aadhakalpa hua. Inkay pehley toh devtaaon ka raajya tha fir devtaaon ko laakhon varsh kaisey kah saktey. Itnay varsh hotey fir toh manushya bahut ho jaatey. Itney toh hain nahee. 5 hazaar varsh may hee 5-6 sau karod manushya ho jaatey hain. Kahtey bhi hain Christ say 3 hazaar varsh pehley Bhaarat may aadi sanaatan devi-devtaa dharma tha." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 5.04.08, pg 2)

“Human beings have thought the duration of the Golden Age to be lakhs of years. So, you tell them the calculation as to how it is 5000 years. It has been two thousand years since Christ, 2250 years since Buddha; then 2500 years since the Islamic people (came). It has been half a Kalpa including all of them. Before them there was a kingship of deities, then how can (the rule of) deities be said to have existed for lakhs of years? Had it been so many years, then the population of human beings should have been enormous. So many (human beings) don’t exist. In just 5000 years the population of human beings reaches 5-6 hundred crores. It is also said that the ancient deity religion existed in India 3 thousand years before Christ.” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 05.04.08, pg 2 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

"Yah toh jaantey ho Baap hamesha bachchon ko aap samaan banaatey hain. Bachchon ko janma koi dukhh ke liye thodey hee detey hain. Dukh toh karmon anusaar miltaa hai. Maa Baap kee aasha rahtee hai ki bachchon ko bahut sukhee rakhein parantu Maya kee praveshtaa hai. Lokik Baap samjhaatey hain bachchon ko shaadi karaaye bahut sukhh detey hain. Parantu paarlokik Baap kahtey shaadi kiya maanaa barbaadi kiya. Ham tumko aisa gul-gul banaatey hain jo swarg may tum shaadi karengey toh patraani patraja banengey jhoolon may jhoolengey. Lokik Baap aur paarlokik Baap kee buddhi may dekho kitnaa fark hai." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 07.04.08, pg 2)

“You know that a Father always makes the children equal to himself. He does not give birth to children for sorrows. It is as per one’s karma that he/she gets sorrows. Parents wish that they should keep their children very happy, but Maya enters. Lokik fathers feel that they give a lot of happiness by getting their children married. But the Paarlokik Father says that getting married means getting ruined. I make you such flowers that when you get married in the Golden Age you will become queens and kings, you will swing on the swings. Look, there is such a difference between the intellect of the lokik Father and the paarlokik Father.” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 07.04.08, pg 2 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

"Achchey-achchey bachchey toh sabkee dil par chadhtey hain. Naam bhi baalaa kartey hain. Paandav sena may kaun-kaun maharathi hai aur kaun-kaun us sena may maharathi hain? Tum dono senaaon ko jaantey ho na." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 07.04.08, pg 4)

“Nice children find a place in everybody’s heart. They also bring fame (to the Father). Who are the maharathis (elephant mounted warriors in literal sense, but here it refers to high effort-makers) in the Pandava army and who are the maharathis in that army? You know both the armies, don’t you?” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 07.04.08, pg 4 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

"Aatma may knowledge na honay kaaran vah maili ho jaati hai. Murjhaa jaati hai. Deeva bujh jaataa hai, fir usmay gyaan ghrit padney say deeva jagtaa hai. Baaki aatma kya hai? Aisey nahee koi aag hai. Aatma aisey hee sheetal hai jaisey Parmaatmaa sheetal hai. Vah hai hee sabhi ko sheetal karney vaalaa. Gaayaa bhi jaataa hai sheetal jinkay ang ... inkay ang sheetal ho jaatey hain unki praveshtaa say. Jismay pravesh kartey hain unko bhi kitnaa sheetal banaatey hain. Sheetal aur tattal (garm). Vah kaam chitaa par jal marey hain, baat mat poocho. Koi-koi toh aisey paap aatmaa hain jo kitnaa gyaan cheenta daaltey hain toh bhi sheetal hotey hee nahee hain. Kitnee mehnat karnee padtee hai ek-ek ke oopar. Baba poochtey hain tum sheetal baney ho? Sanyaasi, udaasi thodey hee kabhi aisey poochtey hain. Maya hee sabko patit banaa deti hai. Kaam chitaa par jaltey rahtey hain." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 08.04.08, pg 3)

“A soul becomes dirty because of lack of knowledge. The lamp is extinguished. Then, the lamp is lighted when the oil (ghrit) of knowledge is added to it. But what is a soul? It is not as if it is a fire. Just as the Supreme Soul is cool, a soul is also cool. He is the one who cools everyone. It is also praised – the one whose bodily organs are cool ... The organs of this one become cool due to His entry. He makes the one in whom He enters so cool. Cool and hot. They have got burnt on the pyre of lust and died; just do not ask about it. Some are such sinful souls that they do not become cool however much they are sprayed with the splashes of knowledge. So much effort is needed to be made with every one. Baba asks – have you become cool? Sanyasis never ask like this. Maya makes everyone sinful. They keep burning on the pyre of lust.” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 08.04.08, pg 3 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

"Ab Baba aatmaon ko is roohani dhandhey may lagaatey hain. Saath-saath jismaani dhandha bhi karnaa hai. Baal bachchon ko sambhaalnaa hai. Aisey nahee Baba ham aapkey hain, yah bachchey aadi aapko sambhaalnaa hoga. Sabko Baba sambhaaley, toh itnaa badaa makaan bhi na mil sakey. Dehli ke kiley jitney sainkaron kiley hon toh bhi itney bachchon ko kahaan rakhengey. Ho nahee saktaa. Fir toh is makaan kee koi taakat nahee. Kaaydaa hee hai grihasth vyavhaar may rahtey huay apnaa purushaarth karo. Itney sab bachchey yahaan aa jaayein toh chal kaisey sakey?" (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 08.04.08, pg 4)

“Now Baba engages the souls in this spiritual business. Along with this, one should also do the physical (i.e. worldly) business. Children should be taken care of. One should not say that – Baba I belong to you; you will have to take care of these children etc. If Baba takes care of everyone, then one can’t even get such a big house. Even if there are hundreds of forts like the fort of Delhi, where will we keep so many children? It cannot be possible. Then it will be beyond the capacity of this building. It is a rule that you have to make efforts while living in the household. If so many children come here then how can one manage?” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 08.04.08, pg 4 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

"Inko bhaagyashaali rath kahaa jaataa hai, jisnay gyaan ganga laai va gyaan Amrit laayaa, unkay naam bahut hain. Bhaageerath bhi hai, Arjun bhi hai, Daksh Prajapati bhi kahtey hain. Hai toh ek hee Prajapita jo sabhi ko lakshya detey hain." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 09.04.08, pg 1)

“This one is called the lucky Chariot, the one who brought the Ganges of knowledge or the one who brought the nectar of knowledge. He has many names. He is Bhaageerath as well as Arjun; He is also called Daksh Prajapati. Actually it is only one Prajapita who gives the aim to everyone.” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 09.04.08, pg 1 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)

"Bahut bachchey aatey hain jinkay vastra bilkul mailey puraaney hain. Koi kapdey kaisey hain, koi kaisey hain. Koi toh aisey sadey huay hain jo dhoney say ekdam fat padtey hain. Baap kahtey hain yah dhobighaat 72 varshon say shuru hua hai. Kapdey dhotey hee aaye hain. Koi toh achchey ho gaye hain. Koi ko toh kitnaa bhi saaf karo fir bhi mailey ke mailey rah jaatey hain. Gyaan kee soti jor say lagaao toh fat padtey hain. Bhaag jaatey hain. Jo saaf nahee hotey, shuddh hokar auron ko shuddh nahee banaatey toh samjhaa jaataa hai inki takdeer may nahee hai. Jo khud achchey ban jaatey hain vah auron kay bhi kapdey dhotey rahtey hain. Yah dhobighaat bhi hai. Aatmaa pure honay say fir shareeer bhi pure miltaa hai." (Brahmakumariyon dwara prakaashit revised Sakar Murli, dinaank 09.04.08, pg 1)

“Many such children come, whose clothes are completely dirty and old. Some clothes are of some kind and some are of some other kind. Some are so rotten that they tear on being washed. The Father says – this laundry (dhobhighaat) has started 72 years ago. The clothes are being washed continuously. Some have improved. Some remain dirty even if they are washed to any extent. If they are beaten with the washing-stick (soti) of knowledge with force, they tear off. They run away. Those who do not become clean, those who do not become pure and do not make others pure, then it is understood that they are not fortunate enough. Those who themselves become nice go on cleaning the clothes of others as well. This is a laundry too. When the soul becomes pure, then it also gets a pure body.” (Revised Sakar Murli dated 09.04.08, pg 1 published by BKs in Hindi, narrated by ShivBaba through Brahma Baba; translated by a PBK; the words within brackets in the English version have been added by the translator to clarify the meaning)
