Is the BKWSU's Brahma Baba different from Hindu God Brahma?

Post13 May 2013

All BKs talk about Brahma Baba but never talk about the four vedas recited by the Hindu God Brahma.

According to Hindu mythology Brahma is considered as the first god of the Hindu Trinity, the other being Vishnu and Shiva. Lord Brahma is recognized as the creator of the Universe. Brahma is regarded as the Supreme Being, the god of gods. Lord Brahma is the originator and the generator of the mankind. Brahma symbolizes the universal mind, as creation is the work of the mind and the intellect. If we consider this, from an individual's point, Brahma represents one's own mind and intellect. As an individual is god gifted with the mind and intellect, then it may be assumed that a person has already attained Brahma.

Hindu God Brahma can be seen as a four-faced, four-armed, bearded deity. He carries a rose and a book in the upper hand; a water pot (Kamandala) in the lower hand and one hand is always there to bestow grace. The four faces represent the holy knowledge of the four Vedas (Riga, Yajur, Sama and Atharva). It symbolizes that Brahma is the foundation of all The Knowledge required for the creation of the universe. The four arms represent the four directions and therefore symbolize that Lord Brahma is the omnipresent and the omnipotent.
I think BKs used the name of Hindu God Brahma as a low risk robbery because in India the worshiping of God Brahma is not such popular and there are very few temples of God Brahma thus less followers.

BKs after receiving the ban on Om Mandli did not wanted to face the same type of protest in Mt. Abu so they picked a less popular God.

The issue of the choice of gods by the BKs we can discuss but, historically, your theory is back to front.

During the Om Mandli they had Prajapati God Brahma; at some point after the move to Mount Abu, they introduced the ideas of God Father Shiva and the non-god "Prajapita Brahma", or Brahma Baba.

The post-1950 introduction of "Shiva Baba" remains one of the greatest mysteries within the BK religion; who, how and why it happened we don't know.

Perhaps you could comment from a Hindu's point of view, the difference between calling their guru and medium Lekhraj Kirpalani Prajapati Brahma and Prajapita Brahma?

Is there any significance between Prajapati and Prajapita? Is the later used in Hinduism?

Prajapati Brahma is a vedic Hindu God and Prajapita Brahma Baba is a BK's God.

So they literally just juggled the vowels around to make a new title?

As in they realised that to call their guru Lekhraj Kirpalani "Prajapati Brahma" was ridiculous or insulting to Hindus, therefore they changed it to Prajapita? Or is Prajapita also used in Hinduism?
