Who are the Brahma Kumaris?
We are all Brahma Kumaris. A Brahma Kumari is a human being who deeply cares about the well being of humanity to such an extent that the person is willing to change the self in order to become the change they wish to see in the world.
By using spiritual knowledge that comes from the direct Source, the Supreme Being, the Father and Mother of all human souls, they are determined to use that wisdom to absolve, transform, and eradicate human weakness such as anger, hatred, arrogance, greed, ego, jealousy, desire and fear. This restores the original virtues of the human soul, including love, peace, purity, wisdom and bliss. We are seeing the living proof of how one school, started in 1936, has grown within 72 years to 8,000 branches in 120 countries, and continues to expand. Their various projects and programs worldwide continue to be a tool to encourage positive leadership and noble character. Dadi Janki, at the age of 92, now the head of the Brahma Kumaris, continues to demonstrate spiritual wisdom and truth through her continued practical example.
The time is now calling us all to play a meaningful part in changing our world into what we know it can be.
