Brahma Kumaris' god and gurus silent on the space race

The Brahma Kumaris teach that all of creation repeats itself identically ever 5,000 years, that each 5,000 years ever particle - even of light - must return to its original position in order to repeat itself just as it did 5,000 years ago. Of course, God Lekhraj Kirpalani and his original supporters in the 30s were all highly uneducated by todays standards but this illogical and highly improbably myth is still promoted by its leaders today.

Since the death of Lekhraj Kirpalani, 22,000 fragments of satellites, rockets and other junk bigger than 4 inches (an estimated 500,000 pieces in total) have entered into an orbit around the Earth and are travelling at up to 22,000 MPH. Around 5,500 tonnes exist, some pieces weighing as much as 9 tons.

Whereas they claim earthquakes and tidal waves will cleanse planet Earth as all the impure continents except India sink below the waves, neither the 'god spirit' nor the divine enlightened leaders of the Brahma Kumaris so called University have any answer how all these items or rare minerals and expensive metals are going to be returned to their original position under the earth ... nor even magically removed from outer space.

Any curious adherents are exhorted by leaders like Dadi Janki Kripalani "not to question ... not to think".

Surely if each and every cycle of time, 5,500 tonnes plus of rare elements are shot into space they have to come from somewhere? And what of the equipment and traces left on the planet Moon? Lacking any atmosphere, items do not corrode as they do on Earth. Surely if it is dumped on the moon, it will stay there until it is removed become more and more and more ...

Recently, photographic images of the Apollo landing sites on the Moon have been released by Nasa. The pictures clearly show the hardware left on the lunar surface by American astronauts in the 1960s and 70s, including Apollo 17's "Moon buggy" (a car they drove on the surface of the moon).

According to scientists, how long will these take to disappear ...

"In human years, it may seem like forever, but in geologic terms probably there will be no traces of the Apollo exploration in let's say 10 to 100 million years," said Dr Robinson, the principal investigator from Arizona State University.

The Brahma Kumaris have no interest in the 'space race' and its implications on their theories ... their interests lie in the race to property agents, acquiring worldly properties out of their followers' wallets. Since when did simple material problems matter to them when another fairy story can always be circulated to hush up any "Brother's Maya"?

Sorry to bore you all with space related posts but a once in a life opportunity arises today ... to see the death of the star which happened 21 million years ago. 21,000,000 years because that is how long the light from it has taken to come to earth

If, as the Brahma Kumaris and their god spirit claims, the Universe can only be 5,000 year what does this mean? That light can impossibly travel 4,000 times faster than light ... that the star was created brand new in 5,000 years ago but looking as if it was already 20,995,000 light years away, with light streaming 20,995,000 years off it as if it is an illusion?

What does the God of the Brahma Kumari and the learned members of the so called Brahma Kumari University say about this?

Astronomers say light from supernova of dying star 21 million light years away can be seen

An exploding star in a galaxy far from Earth should be visible soon after twilight this evening. Amateur astronomers will be able to observe the flicker of light from its violent death throes through a good pair of binoculars or a telescope, clear skies permitting.

The distance means observers on Earth will see the death of the star as it played out 21m years ago, the time it has taken the light from the exploding star to reach our planet.

The discovery is particularly important because it is a type 1a supernova, the kind used to measure the expansion of the universe.

For many people it could be a once in a lifetime chance to see a supernova of this kind blossom and then fade before their eyes; we may not see another one like it for another 40, or perhaps over 100 years, Sullivan said.

The most important scientific revolutions all include as their only common feature, the dethronment of human arrogance from one pedestal after another, of previous convictions about our certainty in the cosmos.
