Brahma Kumaris and spiritual adultery

Yes, cults and religions ...

Defenders of the BKWSU often point to the divorce rates in foreign countries and that marriages breakdown for other reasons too.

Yes, this is true ... but it does not absolve the BKs from their 'knowing' targeting and influence of individuals.

The Brahma Kumaris are spiritual adulterers.

They are like women who go about looking for other women's husbands, or men that targeted married women in order to split them and get their partner's money.

If the BKs were ethical, which they are not, they would warn newcomers that the BK practise *WILL* ... not might ... split their family and relationships apart and that they should not continue on unless they are free or willing to do so.

The BKs won't though because they want as little or as much as they can get from anyone ... 10% or 100%, two years or a life time ... it does not matter to them what wreckage they might cause as long as they get their cut.

I have no idea what is going on between these two actors. We cannot expect actors to moral or ethical examples despite the media's fascination of them. It's all just entertainment and selling more papers or TV.

The Brahma Kumaris are "Spiritual Adulterers", and in the fullest sense.
Is it not spiritual adultery, when they treat others as low grade subjects ..??

Is it not spiritual adultery, when they promote detachment in the ugliest manner ..??

Is it not spiritual adultery, when they restrict entry to "paradise on earth", only to their followers ..??

Is it not spiritual adultery, when they refuse food prepared by others ..??

Is it not spiritual adultery, when they promote an ageing jewellery merchant to the rank of Supreme Soul, and make him (or make himself) equal to what is supposed to be the ultimate power in the universe ..??

Adultery in what sense?

To commit adultery, or to pollute something ... as in to adulterate spiritual values?

I meant in the form of a mental and emotional adultery (obviously case of physical sex are rare, but not unknown, within the BKs). They, or their god spirit if you chose to believe they have one, interferes with established, married couples just like God Krishna was said to do so and Lekhraj Kirpalani actually did so ... and uses their attractivity to lure individuals away from their partners.

In Christianity, and other religions, there is the concept that infidelity starts in the mind, and so one is mentally and emotionally unfaithful to one partner by becoming mentally and emotionally absorbed into the infatuation with the BKs' god spirit, or sometimes their leaders. The BKs do encourage this, often starting as a shared secret relationship with a married individual.

It's really weird ... all those women in love with and infatuated with one individual encouraging others to be so as well. And, remember, until after 1950, there was no God Shiva ... there was only God Lekhraj Kirpalani.

To answer you questions ... no, probably not. It's a whole load of other things but not "spiritual adultery".
Do the BKs 'adulterate' spiritual values?
Well, that is a difficult one because there are no such thing as a fixed, objective list of spiritual values, there are many spiritual values.
Do BKs adulterate their *OWN* spiritual values?
Yes, I would say most certainly they do so.

I know the BKs have upset greatly but I don't think making vague insults or simply connect their names to something bad. If you want to insult the BKs, it is far better to make highly accurate ones based on facts.
