Celibacy and Karma

Post18 Jun 2013

I was wondering if karma philosophy is actually right. All the BKs (including perhaps the ex-BKs) might have done a bit excess of sex karmas in their past lives, so they are suffering (punishment) as BKs in this life (whole life or some years depending upon your past karmas) with their pants tight and saris stiched to sandals!

Karma does not exist, if you really think about it, it just is not real.

Welcome kmanaveen.

I accept that you are probably just having a joke and it is probably a good one to tease BKs with.

According to their philosophy, there is some logic (BK logic only!) to what you say. There is this funny paradox where they claim Lekhraj Kirpalani was the most impure man, and yet still more pure, good and holy than the rest of the world. There is even a Murli reference calling him "the lusty thorn". Presumably a thorn is the same as a prick?

What we have learned from discovering old documents from the 1930s and 40s, is that there is a whole lot more truth to these accusations. In essence, the accusations of Lekhraj Kirpalani "lusty" attraction and enjoyment of the girls and women of the Om Mandli was true; it reports his sleeping with them, bathing half naked, sitting them on his lap, massaging their breasts and kissing, or feeding them tidbits from his mouth to his. And then there is that strange rejection of his wife and adopt of Om Radhe as his partner, with whom he even had a "spiritual marriage" ... a Father marrying a daughter.

Make of all that what you want!

It's easier just to start with the equation that 99.9% of what the Brahma Kumaris teach is garbage and, like prostitutes, they really don't love you and are just after your money.

Whereas prostitutes might massage your 'thorn', the Brahma Kumaris will send around a young Kumari massage your ego ... but to the same result.

Yup! It was a joke guys, don´t take it seriously! However, being a puppet (even in the hand of God) is grossly inhumane and not less than a punishment.

If one accepts karma philosophy, then it was a perfectly reasonable suggestion ... a soul experience one extreme in one life would seek to balance or make up in the next life, or experiences punishment.

If we accept that theory, then I think the BKs must also have been very proud and egotistical in their last life, and fooled many people, because in this life they are being made to look like fools.

Unfortunately, some of them have not lost the habit or tendency of fooling others yet!

Exaggeration.

OK ... 99.8%. What percentage would you give?

Notice I said, "start with ...".

Rather than assuming good faith and that the BKs might be speaking some truth, giving them a 50:50% chance to prove themselves as one might to anyone in life or, especially, "suspending ones disbelief" as they often encourage individuals to do so, it's a far safer position to start from that *nothing* say in truth ... 0% ... and then slowly build up as evidence is given.
    5,000 Years ... zero evidence.
Destruction prediction ... minus zero credibility.
Lekhraj Kirpalani as god ... minus 100% evidence.
Dadi and Didi as 8, 108 etc ... zero evidence,
Their income and wealth ... you'll never get an answer, and so it goes on.
OK, if you ask a BK what the time is, you will probably get an honest answer but what many people's experience has shown is that you cannot even trust them to get a taxi at the proper price without a bribe (New Dehli Brothers); you cannot trust them as employees (Dada advising it is OK to steal); and governments cannot trust them to follow the law (dodgy tax, visa and mortgages etc).

Perhaps most people start trusting others 100% and then slowly allow it to diminish as that other breaks their trust ... this leaves them open to exploitation by skilled confidence tricksters.

Some people start by trusting others 0% and then slowly building up as the other proves their trustworthiness ... this would appear to be the much safer option
Especially when confronted with a leadership such as the BKWSU's who have lied and cheated so long and so widely.
Unfortunately, that last statement is 100% true.

Why should anyone trust anything from any group that has lied and fabricated for decades and fooled 10,000s of people?

This is not bad to make sure about trustworthiness.

Many years ago, a beloved BK died and went to heaven. A saintly old BK greeted him in a firm embrace. "Welcome your holiness, your dedication and unselfishness in serving your fellow BKs during your life has earned you great stature in heaven. You may pass through the gates without delay and are granted free access to all parts of heaven."

Old BK continued: "You are also granted an open-door policy and may, at your own discretion, meet with any heavenly leader including the Father, without prior appointment. Is there anything which your pureness desires?"

"Well, yes," the BK replied. "I have often pondered some of the mysteries of knowledge which have puzzled and confused me though I never showed it. Are there perhaps any transcripts which recorded the actual conversations between God and the prophets of old including Lekhraj Kirpalani? I would love to see what was actually said, without the dimming of memories over time."

Saintly BK immediately ushered the BK to the heavenly library and explained how to retrieve the various documents. The BK was thrilled and settled down to review the history of humanity's relationship with God. Two years later, a scream of anguish pierced the quiet of the library. Immediately several of the saints and angels came running.

They found the BK pointing to a single word on a parchment, repeating over and over:

"There's an 'R'. There's an 'R.' There's an 'R' ...

It's CELIBRATE, not celibate!"
