Going forward, after 2036, when no destruction happens, they will slowly start to say:
"Actually Sangam Yug is 100 years starting from 1956 when Shiva Baba permitted Brahma Baba to reveal the Supreme Soul to the world. Therefore, Destruction will happen in 2055-56. From 1932 to 1956, it was the background, strong foundation that was to be solidly imparted to all the senior Sisters and prepare them to penetrate Shiva Baba's message to the world. Only Brahma Baba knew about Shiva Baba from 1932 to 1956 and had kept it a secret until it was time in the year 1956".

Sometimes I wonder, nowadays, for every product or service we buy, even if it is 1,000 rupees, we make it a point to read online reviews. If we want to switch jobs, we do the research, read reviews from ex-employees current employees and then take a decision. But here in the BKs, they should come forward and try to give an explanation to so many valid points mentioned here in this forum. The BK management should be so upbeat and euphoric and they should look forward to answer.

Instead they are encouraging their folks not to visit this very forum.

Gosh you are right ... we should not give them any ideas!!!

On the subject of reviews, is that the place to focus attention on campaigning? India review sites?

I know there are a lot of BKs on Quora, but I cant read and write Hindi etc.

The best strategy is to inocculate non-BKs *before* they become infected by BKism, in order to protect them and their families.

It's much easier and more effective that trying to cure them *after* they have become infected by BKism.

BKism is like some fever caused by water borne bacteria ... once people are infected, you've pretty much just got to allow the fever to run its course and hope the patient survives. Like dengue fever or malaria, but one that gets into the brain.

There’d be a PhD thesis, possibly a Nobel Prize in Economics (or the Indian national equivalent), if someone could do a detailed analysis of the Indian national economy of all the money that is diverted to gurus, godmen, temples etc from locals and overseas devotees alike.

How much tourism is generated, how much is withdrawn from circulation to be held in safes or converted to property, gold etc.

I wonder where it would rank in the list of ”exports”?

Haha ... I think even the junior most strategist in their team will easily come up with these kind of narratives.

There is no accountability from the trustees as to from where the money came and to where it went (https://www.quora.com/Do-temples-mosque ... s-in-India). Not all organizations are out there to make money. Some are genuine, some are not. Even if there are some rules, it can be easily managed. For example, you need to spend it back to the society/people. They can easily show expenses.

It is not a secret that political parties or individual "successful" politician stash some of their money with religious organizations for safe keeping. So, the rules are always left with some loopholes for the Politician or the political party's benefit. This "Dharma" will be followed by all political parties in unison because they do not want to disturb their fundamental convenience. This loophole is there for business people in India. The business owner can show any expenses towards his business. Suppose he gets 10 Lakhs profit in a year, he can show all that as expense and evade tax altogether. He can hire his wife, adult kids in college and his domestic help as consultant and pay 2.5 Lakhs each and claim it as expense. These people, the beneficiaries in turn need not pay any tax because in India up-to 2.5 Lakh income is exempted from paying any tax.

Coming back to the topic, most temples in India are under the Government. Only the churches and mosques are running independently. Whatever income the temples under Government get are all accounted. Again, the money collected from Temples are given for the development of churches and mosques which is protested by some Hindus. To answer your question, I think only the money received by temples under government will have the correct info. It will be very difficult to get the data of temples run by trusts.

Christian missionaries had/have a well connected NGOs who recieve money from foreign funds and then use it to convert Hindus to Christianity. They splurge upto 50,000 rupees per conversion. Under the current government, they have mostly banned these NGOs doing shady dealings. Again, for Muslims, lot of money comes from Saudi to implement Wahabi rules and popularize it in India. Again, most of this money comes from "different" channels like hawala route and not directly.

Basically, it is a complicated maze and is very difficult to track by a single Phd Guy. If his thesis title is not proper, you can expect backlash from religious organizations and their followers that this Phd guy is "hurting" their religious sentiments! ;)

True, that is where this forum will come into picture. Again, very few Indians are fluent in English. Maybe going forward, we might have the privilege to see translation of this forum's content in other languages.

By the way, many people have already heard of the BKs and almost all know somebody (friend's parents, relatives or acquaintance) who is affiliated to the BKs and many people also already know you cant have sex if you go to Brahma Kumaris and they simply evade coming to take the 7 Day Course.

A couple of links taken at random ... the Sai Baba articles were full of stories about how the organisation was used for what was basically money laundering and bribery.
If you think about it economically, from a social activist's point of view, what is the purpose of removing from such a widely unequal and impoverished society all that wealth?

The purpose is not "glorifying God". God does not need money, or temples, or wealth, or power ... it is about the monopolisation of the power money brings into the hands of the elite.

The parasitical elite that the Brahma Kumaris were desperate to and, arguably, have successfully joined by all the social climbing they called "service". "Servicing" their own self-interests, that is.

What would have to be shown is how damaging ... how impoverishing of society ... such hording is.

What I say is, "What India needs is not more godmen or godwomen ... it is more sanitary engineers".

Imagine how if all that money had been put into building clean water, public toilets, and sewage systems ... how better off India would have become.

You could make the same argument for educating girls, basic healthcare, soil improvements, irrigation and so on.

The BKs don't want to change anything in India ... they only want to become part of the Top Dogs who live in Heaven on Earth, while the masses live in Hell on earth and are destroyed.

The BKs just want to be the New, Improved Brahmin Top Knot™ ... they even say so 'exact' so in their teachings.

It's an 'anti-caste' issue as well. The BKs are caste-ists.
