Introduction

The heading of this volume might spell a surprise A on many a reader for, it claims that Knowledge contained in this volume has its source in the God Almighty or the Gita-Sermonizer Himself. But to those who want to be convinced of the bonafides of the claim by no other means than by what the book contains, I cannot but humbly suggest that they make a thorough reading of the contents at least once. For, the 'versions' herein throw adequate light, directly or indirectly, on the 'why' and 'wherefore' of the title.

About sixteen years have gone by when I- (then in charge of a Teachers' Training Institution) came in contact with the Institution of Brahma Kumaris for the first time. Then, as an ardent seeker, I also had my own 'doubts' about the Brahma Kumaris Institution being a Godly establishment and also about the claim that the Knowledge propagated by the Institution is of direct emanation from God Shiva. But regular, vigorous and whole-hearted study, contemplation, Yoga-practice and spiritual discipline which are essential to spiritual inquiry, soon enabled me to realise the truth and, so, I humbly place myself in the service of the readers to assure them that the 'Godly Knowledge' in the present volume is neither the result of research work nor the fruit of scriptural study made by any human soul but it contains the gift of invaluable and imperishable treasure of knowledge blessed by God Himself, the Knowledgeful. In fact, a cardinal truth of this faith is that human soul is incapable of revealing true Godly Knowledge because only the Supreme 'Soul, who is above the cycle of births, is Knowledgeful; human souls have only paltry knowledge.

There is one thing more which I must clarify before opening the 'versions' proper. It is that, undeniably, the very purpose actuating God's descent or Divine Birth is to establish a new World Order, to reveal the Truth hitherto unknown to mankind or to impart instruction in original spiritual knowledge and Yoga, emaciated by lapse of time, and, thereby, to re-establish the Deity Religion (Adi Sanatan Devi-Devata Dharma) gone into oblivion in the course of time. In view of this, a vast difference between knowledge imparted by God and the tenets propounded by human souls, is inevitable and inelinable; it is no demerit either.

'Therefore, it should be remembered that the esoteric truths revealed by God seem to be peculiar and strange because these do not compare with the prevalent beliefs. The revelations made by God are the original and the ancient-most heritage of Yoga and divine wisdom bestowed again by Him according to His promise in the Gita, viz., 'I descend and body myself forth to re-establish Adi Sanatan Devi-Devata Dharma when degeneration has occurred and when the original Yoga has gone into oblivion."

Each person will approach the 'versions' with a different angle of visions. But if the seeker-after truth keeps in mind that God, the Knowledgeful imparts Godly Knowledge when the world becomes infested with diverse faiths due to true Godly knowledge having gone into oblivion, they would be able to decide for themselves how far it is justifiable to measure the truth of Godly Knowledge with this or that prevalent belief as the yard-stick when it is a plain fact that Truth is one and that, it is the name given to direct revelations made by God.

The sermons of God are the most authoritative and reliable source of spiritual Knowledge; they are their own proof. Yet, there, incidently, exists the supreme scripture 'Shrimad Bhagwad Gita embodying the translated discourses of God (of course, presently, we let aside the belief that the scripture has become interpolated). Therefore, besides being explained with the help of tradition. Divine Reason and Divine Visions (Divya Sakshatkar) blessed by God Himself, the 'Versions' incorporated in this book are interspersed with statements like : "this is duly corroborated by the Supreme Scripture Gita’.

Furthermore, I know that Versions of God on certain important topics of spiritual interest have either not been given in detail or have not been included at all in this book. But, it should not be difficult to realise that in this small volume, all versions could not be included. This book is not the 'be-all' and 'end-all' of Godly Knowledge. Rather, these versions are meant to serve the purpose of an elementary study so as to prepare the reader for introducing the deeper implications of the precepts to him by face-to-face study.

It should be remembered that this knowledge as a whole is co-related with practical day-to-day life; it brings about resuscitation of a degenerated soul; it affects a wholesale change in man's practical life leading him ultimately to the fulfilment of the noblest ambition and the attainment of the highest goal.

There are more than 150 mothers and sisters in this Yagya (Institution) or Vishwa-Vidyalaya who have dedicated themselves, completely to the service of purification of themselves and of other souls by means of Versions of God Almighty. They have very ennobling, energising and interesting spiritual experiences which would require enormous space and ample time for being recorded. I would suggest the spiritual seekers to know these by personal contact.

Further, what led so many mothers and sisters (most of whom belonged to well-up families) to surrender themselves to God, to undertake life of spiritual discipline, endurance, Yoga-practice and Brahmacharya (continence) is an important question which also requires elaborate treatment. Naturally, they must have attained higher and happier life for which they made the sacrifice. But, the nature of the present text and the size of the present book, oblige me to exclude it. The scope of this book allows me to give only versions of God.

Originally, I had a strong urge to pass on every gem of God's Knowledge to brother souls—the sons of the same Parent soul! But finding myself unequal to the big task of rendering every version of God Father in script, I have, in my last resort, compiled and condensed only some of the versions of the most beloved God Father Shiva in the form of the present discourses, in simple language. But I feel that in the; result, I have, perhaps, not been able to do full justice to the work. Therefore, I will not but repeat one key-note of this prelude, namely, that the reader better contacts Brahma Kumaris personally for their interesting, touching, pithy and direct versions. For, I am sure that in so doing, the aspirant would be providing himself with fair chance of getting better satisfaction in answer to whatever be his questions, curiosity or doubts. Incorporeal God Father Shiva Himself being their Immortal Teacher, I hope that the seeker will gain a lot from them.

I have made full attempt to render the versions of God into English faithfully and accurately. But until a man attains his ultimate state of perfection, his works cannot be above all sorts of shortcomings. Therefore, I appeal that the reader focuses his attention mainly on the essence meant to be conveyed. That the knowledge contained in this book comprises revelations made by God—this is what I can say for certain. But, whether the idiom, the phraseology or the terminology adapted by me is appropriate or not, the printing is ideal or otherwise, the paper is meet for these invaluable maxims or not—these are some of the aspects in which there might have been some lapses on my part and for these I request to be excused. If the reader derives some benefit, I will think my attempt worthwhile and will of course, have an eye on improvements in subsequent editions.

Truth Revealed and Doubts removed about God and His creation

God says —

Dear Children ! There are three main categories of people today. One class of people is called the 'Atheists'. They believe that God does not exist at all. Second category consists of those who believe that souls have existence separate from God but God is Omnipresent also. The third are those who say that all human-beings are various forms of God Himself. They hold the belief that God is not an entity separate from the souls.

In fact, the issue of My existence is the cornerstone of every philosophy. But who knows Me-better than I Myself do? The concept that 'God is omnipresent' or that human beings are manifestations of God Himself may represent the beautiful imagination of a poet or, at best, the height which the contemplation of sages and saints could reach but, it is against the knowledge which entitles Me to the attribute 'Knowledgeful'. It is against the wisdom, and the faculty of righteous judgment which I.bestow. If people ponder over this concept in the light of the original spiritual culture of Bharat, they would easily appreciate that this concept is contradictory to the significance of the festivals of India, and is opposed to the significance of images and other means of worship, as I would explain to you now.

God Exists! He Is The Unchangeable Creator Or Seed

Children! If a man is practically shown a tree, does he not believe in the existence of the seedbesides the existence of the tree? Though the seed be unknown to him, all the same, he cannot deny the existence of the seed, for the very existence of the tree indicates the existence of its seed also. Likewise, the very existence of this world, which j| may be compared to the Kalpa Tree, (See page 11 and cover iv) should be a perfect proof of My, i.e., the Creator's existence.

But it is a pity that though the analogy of the Seed and the Tree is contained in the supreme scripture 'Gita' also, in reference to My relationship with this world, yet there is none save Me who may illustrate this tree unto human beings, so that this analogy may become self-evident and explanatory to them. So, in the absence of such an illustration, human beings have been professing that God does not exist at all or that He is Omnipresent. Others have been entertaining the belief that all human beings are various forms of God Himself, which means that this World is not a Tree having a Seed or a Creator apart from it (World Tree).

Therefore, now I have given you clear-cut pictures of the Kalpa Tree (see page 11 and cover iv) and 'The Creator and His Creation' (see page 53 & 59). These will serve as 'Braille to the blind'! By casting a glimpse on this Kalpa Tree and by thinking over it people whose third eye of wisdom is blind, would now realise sooner or later that this Human World- Tree has a Seed, i.e., a Creator. This illustration of the Tree would open their eyes to the reality that I, the God Father of the Human World, exist.

The Existence Of Deities Is The Proof Of God's Own Individual Existence

It is well-known that Islam was established by Abraham, Christianity by Christ, Buddhism by Buddha, so on and so forth. But, evidently, these religions are like the branches of a tree, the trunk of which must have preceded these branches, So, it is an uncontroversial conclusion that before these religions came into appearance, there existed, previous to them, another ancient-most religion from which these religions sprang. That religion is now known as Aryan religion but should, better, be termed as 'Adi Sanatan Devi-Devata Dharma' or 'Deityism'. Now, an important and relevant question is: 'Who founded that prime-original religion? The answer to this question will remove the doubt about My existence.

It is obvious that the person who established this Religion through Brahma or Adam, must be an Eternal and Unborn Being and, naturally, that Being is none other than Myself, the Supreme Soul, the Creator of the Deity Creation. So, if this fact is adequately explained to the atheists that the Adi Sanatan Deity Religion also must have been founded by someone, and that someone is God, the Primogenitor, there would be no difficulty for them to change their belief. The present difficulty is due to the fact that people belonging to this religion do not themselves know who established this Adi Sanatan Deity Religion, when and how. Otherwise, not a single person would remain to be atheist or monist if the mystery about the Founder of this-Religion were explained to him.

Indian Temples Are The Proofs Of God's Existence

Again, there are temples of Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar in India. These Deities are offered great worship by millions of men daily. Besides these three angels or Deities, thumb-shaped images, called Shalgrams, also are used for worship. Often, a definite number of Shalgrams is installed in temples besides the 'Shivlinga.'

Now, it is a matter of common sense that monuments or temples are built to commemorate only those who have done some service to mankind in the past or were higher souls worthy of being adored. So, pointing to the fact of the existence of the temples of Brahma, Vishnu, Shankar, Shalgrams and Shiva, you can ask an atheist, a monist or one who believes in the concept of Omnipresence: "Who are these personalities ? Why are they worshipped"? This question may more particularly be asked about Shivlinga, the image of My Godly form because its form is unlike the form of the Deities and, it is popularly known as the image of Shiva, Amarnath, Somnath, Vishveshwarnath, Mahakaleshwara, etc., etc., all these names implying that it is the symbol of the soul which is Immortal, is Father of other souls, is the Bestower of Knowledge and is the Creator, Sustainer and Destroyer of the world. They would be able to give no realistic and plausible answer. And, this question, when put to persons .of thoughtful nature, would give them a hint that the belief that God is Omnipresent or that all beings are God's forms, is based on ignorance. Thus, they may shift to theism and right kind of belief in My existence.

God Exists As Trimurti

Furthermore, some images of My (Shiva's) Form are found under the name Trimurti also, as for example in Elephant Caves. People do not know the meanings of this name or the significance of such icons. They relate only cock and bull stories about the Deities and about Me so that it is easy for a novice to laugh at the talk of these Pandits and become atheist even, instead of acquiring enlightened belief. Therefore, now the truth about Me the Creator, and about the Deities, i.e., My foremost creation, remains to be revealed to the irreligious mankind and then their doubts about My existence or form will get removed. Now, it remains for you to unfold to them the fact that these idols or memorials of Trimurti symbolise that My (God's) form is represented by Shivling and that I am the Creator of Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar also.

The Rudra Mala Serves As A Proof Of God's Personal Name And Form

Children! You will find rarely any human being, especially a native of Bharat who has not seen or heard of Rudra Mala or Vaijayanti Mala i.e., the Rosary of the Victorious. Many people daily count the beads and recite the name of their tutelary deity on the beads. Even these rosaries are irrefutable evidence of the fact that 'God exists', that 'He is not Omnipresent' but that, He is the Supreme among all the human souls.

But who knows what the 108 beads of the rosary stand for or what the dual bead (Merit) or the Flower at the top stands for? None does. Therefore, you may now explode the mystery and tell them that there is one Almighty Soul called 'Shiva* who, in respect of His attributes and acts, is different from all the rest of the souls and is, therefore, shown as Flower instead of a bead in the rosary. Tell them that He enables 108 persons to attain ideal purity or complete victory over Maya i.e., five vices and that, He performs this great service through Brahma and Saraswati, and, therefore, His memory is preserved in the concrete form of this handy Rosary of 108 beads and one Meru - the dual bead.

Now, just as the rosary used by Christians, showing cross at the top, or the rosary used by Muslims showing Imam, gives a clue to the fact that Christ or Abraham have been real historical figures who played some part on the stage of this world drama, I, the Supreme Soul Shiva, represented by the Flower, also am a real Person. Therefore, it will be a grave folly to disbelieve God's (My) existence or to conceive God (Me) as Omnipresent or non-separate from other souls.

The World Drama Is A Proof Of God's Existence As Creator And Director

Lovely children ! It should be explained to you that this world is a religio-political Drama. Now, there is no drama which has no creator or director. Likewise, this World Drama also has an all-knowing Creator, and that am I, the Supreme Soul.

Further, in a drama, all the actions are not the manifestation of one same director or creator, nor is tine creator-director present in the minds of all, though he knows the drama from beginning to end. This is true of the World Drama as well as of My part in it. Human souls are the actors who have their own respective roles different from the role of Myself—this World is a Drama and I am its Creator and Director.

God Exists As Supreme Teacher Or The Supreme Adjudicator

This world is called 'Karma Kshetra' or the Field-of-Action. It is a scientific truth that here, as one sows, so does one reap. Now, human beings don't know the esoteric and intricate philosophy of Karma. They do not possess complete discrimination as to whether an action done by a person is good or bad. Human beings are themselves subject to birth and death. They are actors, subject to the bondage of action Therefore, you can well understand the necessity of an Umpire, Referee, Supreme Adjudicator or Supreme Judge or Supreme Teacher and that is none other than Myself, i.e., God. Naturally, the Supreme Adjudicator is a person different from those whom He adjudges or punishes. He is not omnipresent at all. It is, therefore, silly to say that all men are manifestations of God or that God has no existence.

God Is The Purifier And Redeemer

You know that everything in this world undergoes four stages. The cycle of human life can be divided into four periods, viz., childhood, adolescence, youth and old age. A year, i.e., the cycle of seasons may also be divided into four seasons, viz. winter, spring, summer and autumn. Likewise, this World-drama also has four epochs according to four stages of human souls. These epochs are called Golden Age (Sat-yuga),Silver Age (Treta-Yuga), Copper Age (Dwapur-Yuga), and Iron Age {Kali-Yuga). During the Iron Age, souls are irreligious, vicious and peaceless while in the Golden Age, they are completely righteous, thoroughly religious, absolutely viceless and profoundly peaceful. The question may be asked: - Who transforms all souls from vicious into viceless and from Iron-aged to Golden-aged ones and who takes souls back to the Soul World by purifying them and emancipating them from their respective bondage of action?

Naturally, that Soul must be above birth and death and not subject to these four stages. That Soul am I, but since the secrets of the World Drama or My Creation, are unknown to mankind today, they do not know that I am an individual Soul, not omnipresent, and that I am All-Purifier (Patit-Pavan) and that, human souls being subject to physical birth and death, are a category apart from Me, the Supreme Soul.

 Lovely children ! It should be explained to you that this world is a religio-political Drama. Now, there is no drama which has no creator or director. Likewise, this World Drama also has an all-knowing Creator, and that am I, the Supreme Soul.

 Further, in a drama, all the actions are not the manifestation of one same director or creator, nor is tine creator-director present in the minds of all, though he knows the drama from beginning to end. This is true of the World Drama as well as of My part in it. Human souls are the actors who have their own respective roles different from the role of Myself—this World is a Drama and I am its Creator and  Director.

 This world is called 'Karma Kshetra' or the Field-of-Action. It is a scientific truth that here, as one sows, so does one reap. Now, human beings don't know the esoteric and intricate philosophy of Karma. They do not possess complete discrimination as to whether an action done by a person is good or bad. Human beings are themselves subject to birth and death. They are actors, subject to the bondage of action Therefore, you can well understand the necessity of an Umpire, Referee,   Supreme Adjudicator or Supreme Judge or Supreme Teacher and that is none other than Myself, i.e., God. Naturally, the Supreme Adjudicator is a person different from those whom He adjudges or punishes. He is not omnipresent at all. It is, therefore, silly to say that all men are manifestations of God or that God has no existence.

 You know that everything in this world undergoes four stages. The cycle of human life can be divided into four periods, viz., childhood, adolescence, youth and old age. A year, i.e., the cycle of seasons may also be divided into four seasons, viz. winter, spring, summer and autumn. Likewise, this World-drama also has four epochs according to four stages of human souls. These epochs are called Golden Age (Sat-yuga),Silver Age (Treta-Yuga), Copper Age (Dwapur-Yuga), and Iron Age {Kali-Yuga).   During the Iron Age, souls are irreligious, vicious and peaceless while in the Golden Age,   they are completely righteous, thoroughly religious, absolutely viceless and profoundly peaceful. The question may be asked: - Who transforms all souls from vicious into viceless and from Iron-aged to Golden-aged ones and who takes souls back to the Soul World by purifying them and emancipating them from their respective bondage of action?
 Naturally, that Soul must be above birth and death and not subject to these four stages. That Soul am I, but since the secrets of the World Drama or My Creation, are unknown to mankind today, they do not know that I am an individual Soul, not omnipresent, and that I am All-Purifier (Patit-Pavan) and that, human souls being subject to physical birth and death, are a category apart from Me, the Supreme Soul.
