Shudra or Sudra is the fourth and lowest caste or varna in the traditional four sectioned division of Indian society. Their assigned and expected role in Vedic India was that of artisans and laborers, servants to higher caste members. The four Varnas being Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaisya, and Shudra.
In the BKWSU, the term is used for all non-BKs or "Iron Aged" souls in a manner that could be interpreted as contemptous or disparaging. BKs see themselves and are told that they are the true and pure Brahmins, the " top knot " or top caste of all human souls. All non-BKs, are seen to be living in the Iron Age and in body consciousness, are called Shudras or impure Untouchables.
