Bucket bath
Water is a luxury in India and baths or showers are not only uncommon but a extreme strain on limited resources.
The common way to bath one's body is a bucket bath and Western BKs travelling to India must learn to do so.
Bathing equipment consists of a bucket of water, often cold, a cup and soap. The body is wet all over, soaped and then rinsed off. It is surprisingly efficient and many BKs continue to wash in this manner on their return.
