Soul

Just as a car has a driver, so the human body has it's driver called the 'Soul'. Whereas the body dies and decays, the Soul lives on taking re-birth after re-birth until the end of the cycle. The Soul carries with it a 'record' of it's past actions. The actions of the 'actor' (ie the body) driven by the Soul will determine the Karmic account of that Soul. The quality of life in subsequent births will be determined by the Karmic account. The Soul can be thought of as comprising three parts.
