Brahma Kumari

From the Sanskrit meaning virgin, young girl or Princess. Translated as daughter by the BKWSU in the West, as in Brahma Kumari ; daughter of Brahma.

Unrelated, " Kumari worship " is practised in Hinduism and Buddhism, where a virgin girl is chosen to play the part of a Goddess and worship as a living deity in a temple. In older times, this sometimes included the human sacrifice of the child at the end of the period to bring good luck to the community.
