Brahmin

Brahmin, the top caste or varna in the traditional four sectioned division of Indian society. Their assigned and expected role in Vedic India was that of priest. The four Varnas being Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaisya, and Shudra.

In the context of the BKWSU, a Brahmin is a follower of the BKWSU only regardless of birth, class or nationality. Any non-BK Brahmins are considered Shudras. BKs are called "mouth-born" Brahmins, born from the teachings of Brahma Baba/Lekhraj Kirpalani.

It is a loose, non-specific term and it is hard to say who is and who is not a Brahmin. There is much speculation amongst BK over non-BKs, which one will become a Brahmin or not. Likewise, ex-BKs might still be considered "Brahmin Souls" despite having failed and left "the Family".
