The Meat and Milk industries are currently facing a serious health crisis due to food contaminants. The contaminants are not only infectious agents such a prions, responsible for CJD but also toxic agents such as the PCBs and bovine growth hormone. In addition, there is evidence indicating that GMO as plant material when ingested can be incorporated into the DNA of intestinal cells and induce neoplastic or cancerous conditions in affected cells.
Foods contain potential energy in the forms of chemical bonds. However, foods on a metaphysical level also have vital energy.
The vital energy is present in high levels in organically grown foods.
Due to the large population globally, the availability of organically grown food is limited to localized geographically regions. For example there are many scattered natural food stores in New York state and many other states in the US.
Some organic farms are under attack from companies such as Monsanto which is cultivating GM crops. If there is a major nuclear or other toxic disaster, food availability, including organic foods will be in great shortage due to contamination.
Foods are associated with water. Pure water is essential for life.
Many major corporations are purchasing out bodies of fresh water and some are selling water to the natives of the countries from which the water was obtained. One reason the US has invaded Iraq was to gain control of the many bodies of fresh water. WWIII will not be a fight for oil, it seems. It will be a fight for water.
The peoples of the world, however, cannot allow the giant corporations to feed them contaminated foods.
There should be a global grass roots effort, lead by yogis, to protect and increase the organic products for the New Era in history, be it the Golden Age or Heaven.

OM shanti Bhai!

Father has mentioned the food we eat and the company we keep affects our Brahmin lives the most.

I think the key to change is cleaning the mind first but the difficulty lies in the addictions which affect the mind.

So it is a unique challenge that is placed in front of us.

What is really changed our world is the power of convience.

Convience has created a polarity, short term benefits but long term problems.

Papaya:
Those are great ideas.
We still, however, pay close attention to the foods we ingest.
The small farmer, especially the organic farmer should be supported by consumers. Many large corporations are taking over the small farms.
One reason why I would like to become an organic farmer, is the ability to have control of sources of food production. I can imagine a situation, prior to the latter stages of the transformation in which there will be long line at super markets for limited supplies of food.

OM shanti Bhai!

Yes, Organic farming is wonderful.

I owned a Organic food deliver business for awhile and since then it is wonderful to see the more options.

Some fruits if educated are not as affected by pesticides as other.

The main concern with organics in North America is availability, look and price.

I hope your wishes of organic farming come true,

Take Care

Papaya,

I feel that we all as a collective thinking should wish in an unselfish way for a future in which there will be a peaceable kingdom in which organic farming will be a part of such a kingdom.
It is very possible.

Dear Papaya and Hanuman,
Omshanti. Advance party (pbk family) also aims to establish such a world where chemicals and fertilizers are not used to increase agricultural production or its quality. The advance party is also implementing these principles practically on the little agricultural land that belongs to the pbks. Chemicals and fertilizers spoil both the physical and mental health.
With warm wishes,
Arjuna
