Some of you may have heard of Whitley Strieber. He is the author of "Communion", that seminal bestseller about (his) true life alien encounters. Whitley has a number of other books to his credit. He also hosts his own internet talk show "Dreamland" on the Unknown Country website. Here is the link:

http://www.unknowncountry.com/

When you get to the site, click on "Listen now" which is on the top right of the page (just below "Dreamland with Whitley Strieber"). A small screen with Windows Media Player will pop up. On the left side of that small screen, the topics of a few of Whitley's recent talk shows are listed. You will see, below each topic and written in blue, the words "Click here to listen". Unlike Coast to Coast and the Jeff Rense site, there is no large archive of past shows to select from. However, one need not subscribe and there is no charge for listening to Strieber's shows...it's free.

Speaking of Coast to Coast, there is some very sad news. Ramona, who was the wife of Coast founder Art Bell, recently passed away suddenly at the age of 47. Needless to say, Art must be totally devastated and is now in deep seclusion. Here is a write up on Ramona's passing, taken from the Coast site:

Quote:
In Memoriam: Ramona Bell
Art Bell's beloved wife of fifteen years, Ramona, died unexpectedly last night after an asthma attack. At present, the exact cause of Mrs. Bell's death has not been determined. It apparently took place during her sleep.

Until her death, Art and Ramona Bell had not been apart a day since they were married. Mrs. Bell had suffered from asthma for years, and took her normal steps to control the attack, which occurred sometime last night in Laughlin, Nevada where the Bells were taking a brief vacation. Ramona Bell was 47 years old.

For those who wish to offer their condolences, send cards and letters (no flowers, please) to:
Art Bell
