Just an interesting thought brought up by someone else's comment about the painting of Dada Lehkraj sitting with his notebook in his hand.

I remember to how they always said the influential " Mama " or senior sister Saraswati always wrote copious notes.

Has anyone ever heard of these surfacing, being published or being made publicly available? I had a thought they might be interesting, especially Lehkraj's own personal diaries. Perhaps they would elucidate on his thought patterns, doubts and question, illustrate his spiritual development in a way a fixed painting or old photo will never do.

They do require an awful lot to taken on in faith with regards this individual. And it is dangerous given human beings desire to have a manifest Messiah or complete guru before them. Any Messiah will do.

I think it is strange that these have not been made more of, e.g. imagine if they were Freud's or Marx's personal diaries and yet, by B.K. reckoning, Freud and Marx were only little grubby Kali Yuga maggots by comparison to the Great Father and Mother of Humanity.

They might, of course, read as absolute garbage.

I used to have a book of Mamas 'thoughts'. I think they were probably transcripts of her lessons, but not sure. I found it a fantastic book and I felt quite in tune with her. Funny thing is, I can't find it anymore. If anyone knows of any of her books being available I would really like to get hold of a copy again?

I think you are referring to Gyan Sitar, a book of Mama's (so called) murlis. I have read some of this in a borrowed copy and it was good stuff - never seen a copy for sale, even in Madhuban... Confused

Why are they called 'murlis'? How many other people are murlis attributed to? Shocked I think I read somewhere on the forum that in one view anything and eveything that Brahma Baba said was a murli. I wonder if some things that the Dadis say are considered murlis. There was also the time when Brahma Baba departed and various sisters claimed to receive messages, visions etc so it was decided that only Dadi Gulzar was allowed to do this.

I agree this is really strange that these writings are not available. I'm not sure about Freud or Marx but imagine the interest in the (hypothetical) writings of someone like Jesus - there is so much controversy about what Jesus really meant, do we understand him correctly etc. In the case of Brahma Baba then I presume that either the writings don't exist cos they have been lost or chucked out or they do exist but for some reason are being kept under wraps. This would be a great question for the BK HQ.
