If CAFTA is passed by the USA legislators, CODEX will the enforced by the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA aka FDA) in the US as has been done in EU countries. The implications are extremely serious for all individuals living in the USA, including and especially those who are taking good care of their physical and spiritual health. IF CAFTA IS PASSED BY THE US CONGRESS, WITHIN A FEW YEARS ALL THE VITAMINS, SUPPLEMENTS AND HERBALS WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE SHELVES OF FOOD COOPS AND HEALTH FOOD STORES. Twisted Evil

In their place will be very diluted vitamins and supplements based on CODEX guidelines and lacking in potency.
That is good news for the pharmaceitical industry. Twisted Evil

For more than three decades as consumers have become more analytical and have used more and more vitamins and supplements, the pharmaceutical industry, in spite of their billion dollar profit margins have been experiencing a decrease in sales of thier highly toxic drugs. They are lobby Congress to pass CAFTA so that CODEX can be enforced and the rights of US citizens to take charge of their own health will be severely restricted. According to one authority in health science, some CODEX approved doses of supplements will not be adequate for the optimum health of a cockroach! Laughing

Dear Erroll,

What about eating fruits, herbs and vegetables?
This harmonium is designed to live from natural resources. A vegetarian diet is justified only by nature. Vegetarians should take more care in maintaining and peserving their engine and using the right oil and fuel other than always searching the right tracks.

Yes, we need to take care and accept that responsibility.

Baba says the food we eat is important.

As far as the supplements you may need B12.

Eat whole ripe fresh (organic if possible) fruits and vegetables.

This is to be simple.

Indeed, Papaya, we all need to act. Contact our congressperson and ask them to VOTE NO TO CAFTA.

Frank, I have no problems with fresh organic fruits and living in harmony.
Here is the problem: A Mom & Pop establishment may want to preserve the active ingredents from many fruits and herbs and make them available to the public at a reasonable price. The public becomes healthy and has no need for the toxic drugs sold at astronmonical costs nor for unwise allophatic physicians. When the percentage of the public which is independent from corrupt doctors and the drug industry increases, the profit margin of The Pharmaceutical Industry is signigicantly limited.
The power of the US pharmaceutical industry is surpassing the Military Industrial Complex. Today using CODEX in the Trojan Horse of CAFTA, the pharmaceutical Industry wants to take away the rights of citizens to live healthy and happy lives. Toady they will try to take away the vitamins, herbs and supplements. As they do that, they are also taking away the land and seeds used by organic farmers. I do not want to name specific companies. One company has purchased seeds from farmers and replaced the natural seeds with GMO seeds. The farmers have made no gains, that company gains and the consumers gain a greater susceptibility to a specific new and emerging disease. That same company along with others are purchasing up bodies of water all over the world. We may be able to go with out food for sometime. How long can a human be deprived of water?
At the moment Europeans are limited in their ability to purchase nutraceuticals.
