Q&A published by BKs in Avyakt Vanis

Post18 May 2007

Omshanti.

As we all know that since many years BKs have been publishing one or two Q&A at the beginning of the revised Sakar Murlis. Apart from that the BKs have also published some Q&A at the end of certain Avyakt Vanis as part of the compilation of season-wise Avyakt Vanis.

Since BKs are not ready to officially answer any of the questions being asked by BKs, PBKs, non-BKs, ex-BKs and others, I had been thinking of starting a thread that would contain the official Q&A published by the BKs so far, as part of the Sakar Murlis and Avyakt Vanis.

I had produced one such Q&A from an Avyakt Vani in a thread in the Commonroom Section. I am starting this thread with that Q&A itself. I will produce some more Q&A as and when I get time to type them. Meanwhile if anyone else wishes to contribute to this thread, they are most welcome.

For the convenience of future reference, any Q&A quoted from Sakar Murlis may be numbered as Q.No.SM-1.....Q.No.SM-20 etc. and any Q&A quoted from Avyakt Vanis may be numbered as Q.No.AV-1.......Q.No.AV-33, etc. If members feel that it would be better if these two types of Q&A are to be grouped in two different threads then it could be done at any stage. (Any moderator deciding to do so may kindly copy this post as the first post of the new thread also).

A Q&A published by the BKs as part of the Avyakt Vani dated 24.2.84 in English:

Q.No.AV-1: Sometimes, even Brahmin souls are influenced by evil souls, so what should we do at that time?
Ans: The atmosphere at the centers should be constantly powerful and your own stage should also be powerful. Then evil spirits cannot do anything. It is the mind that is influenced and because of the mind being weak, there is an influence. Suppose, there is a weak minded soul that soul feel that some attack is there. From the beginning a special bhatti should be created for that soul and yogyukt souls should sit in meditation so that a powerful group should understand and have the responsibility that, "We have to do this special task to create the atmosphere."

As other programmes are made, in the same way this programme should also be done with full attention. Then the soul that feels an influence gets power and is saved. Because of this influence sometimes that particular soul won't be able to sit itself in meditation, but it doesn't matter because there is influence and if you continue to do your work with faith, then the mischief and influence will disappear. The evil spirit will even try to overpower you, those who are attempting the rescue. But don't be afraid. You create a powerful atmosphere and think that, "We have to do this task." and then gradually the influence will finish.

A Q&A published by the BKs as part of the Avyakt Vani dated 24.2.84 in English:

Q.No.AV-2: In the Bible, it is mentioned that there will be Anti-Christ. What does this mean?
Ans: Anti-Christ means those who decrease the influence of his teachings, his religion. For example, even within the Christian religion they are decreasing the value of the religion as well. They do not realise the power of their own religion and so they give power to other religions, or they do not give importance to the teachings. They are called Anti-Christ. For instance, by priests leading a family life they do not give importance to purity, to celibacy, and they also encourage others to lead a family life, so this is just like they have become Antichrist. Achha!

Arjun Bhai, maybe you can help me to understand whether the PBK Questions and Answers , in the context of the Murli, serves the same purpose as pertains in the BKWSU. In my experience the Q & A that appear at the start of the BKWSU Murli can be seen as a way in which the Murli content can be summarised and/or alluded to. However the Q&A's that you post seem very much aimed at clarifying certain aspects of Godly Student Life. Is my perception of the differences on the right track? Is there a short description that you can provide about the role of Q&A in the context of the PBK Murli. Thanks

Much respect as always and I thank you for availing yourself to deem these questions worthy of a response.

Much Brotherly regards

Dear Brother,

Omshanti. The Q&A from Avyakt Vanis published by BKs that I am quoting here have been published at the end of certain Avyakt Vanis. It is not clear if these questions were asked to Avyakt BapDada and whether they were answered by BapDada or not.

As regards the Q&A from Sakar Murlis published by the BKs, I agree with you that they are in fact essence of those Murlis.

As regards the Q&A published in the PBK section, they are clarification sought by PBKs or others (through PBKs) from ShivBaba (through Baba Virendra Dev Dixit) regarding various aspects of the basic and advanced knowledge (including the Sakar Murlis/Avyakt Vanis published by the BKs). Actually, when the clarification Murlis are narrated by ShivBaba (through Baba Virendra Dev Dixit) the PBKs sitting in the audience generally do not disturb in between by asking questions. So, if they have any doubt regarding the clarification Murli narrated on that day or on previous occasions, they ask Baba after the class which is recorded. In fact, the questions do not pertain just to clarification Murlis but to any aspect of basic or Advanced Knowledge as well as the path of worship (Bhaktimarg) to the extent mentioned in the Murlis/Avyakt Vanis/Clarification Murlis. It is not necessary that everyone would feel satisfied with the answers. Some keep on questioning Him till they are satisfied. Some do not pursue the questions.

A Q&A published by the BKs as part of the Avyakt Vani dated 24.2.84 in English:

Q.No.AV-3: What is the meaning of misuse of Baba's blessings?
Ans: Sometimes Baba gives titles to His children. For instance, He says: you are a very serviceable child, you are Baba's special child, a unique child. When He gives such title and they misuse these titles, what do they think? That they have already become so: "I am in this stage", and in this way, considering this, they forget to make future effort. This is called misuse of the blessings, because BapDada gives blessings and instead of using it for service, they use if for the self. To make efforts according to their blessings, and to use them for service is the right use of blessings. To become careless is misuse of blessings.

A Q&A published by the BKs as part of the Avyakt Vani dated 24.2.84 in English:

Q.No.AV-4: Nowadays thieves come in also, so what should be done at that time ?
Ans: At that time, again, you need the power of Yoga. For example someone comes with the thought to scare you. You have to have the power of Yoga. If you start to speak it will cause damage. This is why you should give him the power of peace. To speak means to add fuel to the fire. Stay in the stage that you don't care. Be an observer, but inside you should have the power of peace and, when you have the power of peace, he won't do anything. He will also understand that, "There, they don't care", otherwise when they come to scare you and you fluctuate, you will also cause fluctuation in them. It is your fear that encourages them. This is why you must never be afraid. At that time be in the powerful stage of an observer. To use that power of being an observer you need to practise. The practice of being an observer is used at that time.

Dear Abk and new_world,

Omshanti. Please don't thank me. I feel embarrassed. Thanks to Baba for providing us a chance to do Godly service through this forum.

Actually, I do not have enough time, otherwise there is so much information that could be produced on this forum for the benefit of those BKs also, who do not have access to Sakar Murlis and Avyakt Vanis.

I am producing these Q&A only in the sincere hope that one day some of our BK Brothers/Sisters who have more authentic English Murlis and Avyakt Vanis would start producing Q&A from their records for the benefit of their fellow Brothers & Sisters. My stock of original English Avyakt Vanis published by BKs is very limited (pertaining to three seasons of Avyakt BapDada) like the perishable petroleum resources of Arab nations. So, I hope that until my stocks exhaust, one or the other BK would be inspired by Baba to replenish the stock.

A Q&A published by the BKs as part of the Avyakt Vani dated 24.2.84 in English:

Q.No.AV-5: What is the Yukti to make the atmosphere powerful?
Ans: To be powerful yourself, Baba tells you many things. From the early morning hours of nectar, and in all the actions throughout the day, extra special attention and checking: "Is my stage powerful?, because sometimes you are busy in service and sometimes in service plans there is a little bit of carelessness in one's stage, the service takes place but the atmosphere is not as powerful as it should be. Special attention on the self and being in gyaan and Yoga together means a powerful stage. This balance is sometimes missing a little bit. Make karma and Yoga both powerful. Balance is lacking. Just keeping yourself busy in service you are not able to make your stage powerful. According to how much your mind, money and body is used in service, so you should get 100,000 fold reward, but you do not receive this. The reason for this is because the balance of karma (service in action) and Yoga is lacking. You make service plans – printing leaflets, arranging programmes on TV and radio, making other outside programmes – but before that you should pay special attention to make your mind powerful. This attention is not enough. And what do you say then? "We remained busy; this why we didn’t have balance." Then you are not able to have double benefit. So the yukti is to make yourself powerful ...

A Q&A published by the BKs as part of the Avyakt Vani dated 24.2.84 in English:

Q.No.AV-6: Sometimes, some souls with disturbed minds come to the center to hear knowledge. What should be done in such cases?
Ans: If, on hearing knowledge there is a change in that soul, and it has an experience even for a few seconds, then it should be encouraged to take Gyan. But sometimes souls just come because they are stumbling and just want to find a place, not because they want to hear knowledge. So feel with what aim they have come. Just check, whether this soul has come to transform itself, or with madness, has just come: “I will go to whatever place I can find.” So fel the pulse and have the power of discrimination. Sometimes, some mad people come. When they see the door open, they just enter. They are not in their right mind, not conscious of what they are doing. So you must have the power of discrimination, otherwise time is wasted. But when someone comes with a good aim and has a disturbed mind, then it is you task to give help. But you should not attend such souls alone; especially a Kumari should not attend a mad person. A mad person on seing a Kumari becomes more mad. If you think a soul is worthy, there should be a mature and responsible person present who can give him time, because the world is very dirty and people have dirty thoughts as well. This is why you must pay attention to this point. You need a very clear intellect in this. If you have a clear intellect you can catch the vibrations of what aim a person has got.

This is one of the reasons why at the PBK centers (mini-Madhubans and Gitapathshalas) unmarried surrendered/non-surrendered PBK Sisters generally do not meet strangers &/or PBK Brothers alone. Generally a PBK mother accompanies them during such meetings because mothers are considered to be mature enough to handle strangers/men. But I don't think this rule contained in an Avyakt Vani published by BKs is followed at most of the BK centers.

A Q&A published by the BKs as part of the Avyakt Vani dated 24.2.84 in English:

Q.No.AV-7: What plans for service should be made for this year?
Ans: Baba spoke the other day also, and said, that the speciality for this year must be that: firstly, for the self, with the attitude of pure thoughts, to create a powerful atmosphere, to pay attention to this. And secondly, in terms of service, find such souls, who are able to say, "This is the only method for peace; this is the only place from which peace can come." This sound should come unanimously from all directions across the world. In Bharat and abroad that sparkle of peace should be clearly visible. In all corners, everyone should be touched by this: "This is the accurate place". Just as all the governments created the UN, and when any situation takes place, to where does everybody’s attention go? It is drawn there. And so, if ever there is an atmosphere of peacelessness anywhere, everyone’s attention should come here: "These are the ones who are the messengers of peace." Let them all experience that "this is the one place where it is possible to be safe from peacelessness", so that they come here. This year this atmosphere should be created. There are many now who say that Rajayoga is good, this knowledge is good, this life is good, but they should now come to the point where they say, "This is the place from where world peace is possible" This is the method. Do you understand? And so, spread the vibrations of peace so that you can tell them that, "If you want to experience peace come here". Have a special festival, celebration for peace. Create this atmosphere.

In service you create students in order to have expansion, so that is good and just as now you have people from all backgrounds, and of all costumes and colours who come, in the same way there should also be people from every professional background who come. Just as here there are workshops and all professional groups meet together and share experiences of peace within their situations, so if they were to visit any of your centers in the world, it should be possible for them to meet people from every professional background there, and be able to share their experience and be convinced: "Yes, this is how there is a possibility of peace within our own field." This will have a very good influence. The people of every professional background must see that this is the easy method to experience peace. Just as this year has been a very good advertisement that people from every religion can become Rajayogis, so let there be the sound that this is the method for peace for every professional group. In this way, let the sound spread further. There are now so many centers, let there be a powerful sound that reaches across the whole world. The sound reaches the students and also those who are in contact, but now let the sound reach everywhere. Let there be effort for this especially.

Up to now the Brahmin population is very small and when you take that into consideration, and the 900,000 that are needed, there is still a huge gap. There must be 900,000 at least, for the beginning of SatYuga over whom you can start ruling. You won't rule a kingdom of 100,000. When there are special souls who come into contact, then there will be an increase in the number of subjects also, and so, how is your speed according to this? It should be fast, shouldn't it? The quantity now is still very small. Is it according to that calculation of 900,000? Has it reached that? What is the total quantity abroad? (And someone said, "Two thousand, approximately") The population of Brahmins abroad should be at least 200,000 to 300,000. The effort you are making is good, but the speed has to be a little bit faster. The speed will increase when the right atmosphere is generated. Achha Sumja? Is there anything else?

A Q&A published by the BKs as part of the Avyakt Vani dated 2.2.70 in English:

Q.No.AV-8: What is the sign of enlightened, that is, sensible souls?
Ans: They will perform every action after thinking about it and carefully considering it. They will never perform any actions which they would have to think about afterwards. If you think about something afterwards, then together with the thinking, there is also repentance. Those who do something after thinking about it have attainments whereas those who think about it after doing it have to repent. This is the difference between enlightened and ignorant souls. The children of the ocean of knowledge never make any mistake for which they would have to repent afterwards.
