False elites

Post18 May 2012

What is more appealing and fascinating than being told that you are one of 900,000 elite souls chosen by God from billions of human beings to inherit the world, on the merit of belonging to BK and nothing else.

What sort of feeling does it generate to know that the Apocalypse (world destruction) is imminent and, as BK, you will survive to become a true ruler who will reincarnate during a Golden Age and enjoy 1,250 year of peace and heaven on earth?

These are the type of false promises and non-existing incentives, BK plants in the minds of their followers to quarantee their loyalty and continued devotion to the cult, in anticipation of fictitious rewards, which will never materialise or be delivered.

Along with thinking oneself to be more important and better than others ... simply being allowed to "dress up" is also part of the attraction, especially as Westerners who get to dress up as Indians. It has given up pleasure since childhood.

Did you never stop to think, all religions are like football clubs ... or armies even. They all have their own colors and "strip" (costume) which identifies them as being different, and their supporters dress up in different ways.

But you point is that the BK superiority is achieve by 'doing nothing', e.g. sitting on your butt and becoming stupid.
No need to go to university and struggle to understand.
No need to study hard at some practical skill or art.
No need to train and stay fit (in fact, being fat is encouraged and an advantage, it seems! It make you look rich and powerful in India and it stops men looking lustfully at you in the West).
No need to work hard at business.
No need to get your hands dirty helping out the poor, orphans, victims, suffering animals or environment
... all you have to do is sit down and think you are special. To tell yourself you are special time and time again.

May be one of the most dangerous aspects of BK teachings is to drain the person from his emotions to become like a moving robot, who does not react to events or happenings around him ... In short, develop a passive personality ... !!
